I'm always very grateful when other bloggers make comments on my cards, and I don't mind constructive criticism, truly. I am after all new to card making and feeling my way, trying all kinds of different things. I'm not very good with my Copics, but I'll learn and take any advice offered. I love a challenge and I'm really enjoying the time I spend putting these cards together.
One blogger who has been commenting on my cards is Kathy (and you can find her blog here. Kathy suggested a couple of sketch challenges I might want to check out. Mojo Monday was one and I thought I might have a try.
So here is my card - I've called it 'Festive Daisy'.
I started with a cream card followed by kiwi kiss. I overlaid the cream Fiskars punched edge with a shaped paper from Grant Archival. The dp is from Basic Grey. I embossed riding hood red and kiwi kiss using the Cuttlebug embossing folder Swiss Dots. The image from SU Upsy Daisy was stamped on cream card and mounted on riding hood red, as was the kiwi kiss.
To finish off I added the organza ribbon and three pearls.
Hope you like it.......
Great choice of stamp set. Upsy Daisy has to be my favourite at the moment. Just love what you have done with it, very creative.

ReplyDeleteWow, Sue, this is gorgeous. I love your papers and color combo. How do you do that? I can't seem to get the same results with my efforts :-).
ReplyDeleteOooh, if you love challenges, look to the bottom right side bar on my blog. I have a list there of challenges. I don't participate in all of them. I just pick and choose whatever interests me.
