StampTV CSS Challenge Hop........

Welcome to our first Center Stage Spotlight Design Team Blog Hop!

Jessica Fick, the Design Team Coordinator for GinaK Designs has issued a challenge to all of the past and present team CSS team members to make a Christmas card with one of these sketches:

Hello! I'm so glad you've joined in on this hop.
I've made two cards using both of Jessica's sketch layouts.
The first features the spring of holly from the Stamp TV Kit - Holiday Cheer .
Stamped onto GKD Pure Luxury layering weight in pure white, using Memento Tuxedo Black ink and coloured with Copic markers. Nestabilities dies were used to cut the circles and scalloped circle.
My base card is American Crafts - Rouge. Next a layer of GKD Pure Luxury layering weight in pure white. The DP is Basic Grey from the Wassail paper pad and this was shaped using a Fiskars border punch.
The scalloped circle was cut from some red glittered card. The red and white ribbon came next followed by the plain green circle which was attached with thin foam tabs. The stamped and coloured image was finally attached with more foam .
I've lined this card and stamped a sentiment and corner holly detail both from Theresa Momber's set Very Merry Christmas.

The first card was 'Traditional' my second card is a little more fun.

The Stamp used here is from Carolyn King for GKD and called 'Warm Winter Wishes'. I've used this little snowman on a couple of my Christmas cards this year he's quite versatile! I'd hoped for some sunshine to show the glitter on this card but sadly it's a dull day here!
I stamped him using Memento Tuxedo Black onto GKD PL layering weight in pure white and coloured with Copics. The heart was stamped twice, coloured and 'Joy' from the same set was stamped using a stamp-a-ma-jig to position . I've added some falling snow and snow beneath the snowman using Martha Stewart clear glitter..... I'm getting better with the glitter thing...... still end up with plenty on the floor! The cut out heart was added now using fine foam tabs.

The base card is PL heavy base weight in pure white. Followed by a layer of Baja Breeze then Basic Grey Eskimo Kisses dp. The corners were punched out and pearls added.
Nestabilities dies were used for both the image and the scalloped circle which was cut from baja breeze.

For this card I used dp in place of ribbon and both sides were punched with a Fiskars border punch. The stamped image was attached using thick foam tabs.

The sentiment from Theresa Momber's set 'Very Merry Christmas' was stamped onto pure white card with Baja Breeze ink, cut to size and the corners punched . To complete the sketch I've punched two snow flakes and added the clear gems. Both these elements were attached to the card with more foam tabs.

One sketch two quite different designs which one would you pick?

I hope you'll take some time and visit the girls blogs....... they are a talented group I'm sure you'll be inspired by their work. If you don't manage them all you can always check the link over at StampTV.Thanks for dropping by, hope you'll come by tomorrow when I have a very cute little girls card to share..........
