Hope you've all enjoyed a good week end. I was talking to Mum in the UK who tells me they have been enjoying warm weather just need it to last a couple more weeks.
I used a sketch from the Clean and Simple blog FTL93 to make this thank you card for a friend. Waltzingmouse Asian Gardens provided the images and sentiment stamped in SU Close to Cocoa and VersaColor Old Rose inks. One of the blossoms has a second layer popped on with a foam dot, for interest. I like the effect of stamping on this textured white card I think it adds to the Asian style.
I punched the pink strip with a Fiskars Upper Crest punch and scored either side of the sentiment. The little buttons were added with embroidery thread bows.
Today I pre-posted a few things ready for Annabelle Stamps June Release so keep checking on my little blog...........please.

ReplyDeleteNeat card Sue, and that one flower on foam a dot really makes the card 'POP'... Yes still sunny here, but the temperature is dropping, and quite a breeze today, outside temperature here is 64F at almost 6pm, so not that hot.
