Tweet Retreat

YEAH!!!!     HAPPY BIRTHDAY MARCIA!!!!
Join the fun click on the link to take you to The Stamp Spot.

Hello all,

Today I sized and printed out this little digi from Kathy Martin.  I've admired her sweet little designs for a while and  downloaded some to play with a while ago, so at last here is the first.  Kathy calls this one 'Tweet Retreat', I've added a computer generated sentiment to make a Christmas card.   I have a thing about Birdhouses......I have a few around the house and in the garden so  this little image had to come to my house!

I've used Copic markers to colour and two of the birdhouses have been popped up on foam dots.   This might be the last of the double bows for a while ....... my last three cards have had them so .... enough already!

How was your week end? Did you manage to get some craft time sneaked in between the chores?

The weather here was glorious.......Spring has arrived and we've made the most of it.  On Saturday the Stampin Up class with Fiona was fun and we made 6 cards in a few hours.......not like me at all, it usually takes me ages. Needless to say I put in an order........well who could resist the new 'In Color' papers  etc.     Have I ever told you my husband is a saint?   He never complains, just laughs and pulls my leg about this hobby of mine.

I  did a bit of Spring cleaning in the craft room, moving the computer from one end of the space to the other so cables plugs etc all got sorted out in the process.  No card making that I can share but the Annabelle previews start on Wednesday.  This morning was the Waltzingmouse Stamps September release...........Oh dear I was bad!! Four new sets coming my way..... but they are all     g o r g e o u s  !  That Claire is such a clever lady and her DT make it so hard to resist.  Go take a look...... I dare you!!!

Well that's it for now, take care all till next time...........

  1. Hi Sue. This is such a cute image and I love how you made it a Christmas card. Your bow is so pretty. Yes we did have a beautiful weekend - I was decorating for autumn but did manage to get some stamping done. Will be waiting to see what you create with those new stamps.

  7. Very tweet! Yes, the weekend was lovely and enjoyable and full of Spring, but we swept back to winter yesterday and the night was bitter. Sunny today but they are predicting a return to winter for a few days now. Oh, well - time to relax and make some cards!
