One Layer Wednesday 27 - Christmas Kindness.

I'm sharing my one layer card for Susan's Challenge # 27  .  These cards are being sent to America for a good cause, I hope mine reach there in time as I've been a bit slow off the mark with this!  I have to smile thinking about the person who will eventually receive a card that has travelled so far!

I've used two of Claire's stamps from Waltzingmouse Stamps for this first card, I love this sentiment and stamped in red within the green frame says Christmas to me.  The Ivory card is some I picked up at the Papercraft show in Sydney yesterday, it's a 'no name' pack but a beautiful smooth firm card that I love!
I've embossed around the stamped image with a matching Spellbinder die to keep within the one layer challenge.

My second card doesn't fit the challenge as I added a layer of white card for the stamped image, but I'm sending this one too.

More new card stock.......beautiful green and with white embossed sentiment (why didn't I just white emboss the baubles too???? not sure I think my brain was a bit slow last night :)).  These stamps were from the bargain bin in a local art supply store and I really like the baubles for quick cards.  I've stamped these in SU Pear Pizzazz onto a scrap of white hammered card, then cut with a Spellbinder die.  I also embossed the green card prior to attaching the image .......just for interest.

It's rained here  on and off all day again ....... feels like winter at home.  Goodness knows when we'll finally get some Spring weather.  Never mind........ I'm never bored!

Hope you're all ready for, or enjoying your week end.  See you soon..............

Hi Sue! Great job on both of these cards! I have been playing the OLW challenges and really like getting away from all the layers once in a while.
Hope you are doing well.
I've started a blog and if you have a chance to visit, I'd appreciate it. It is:

Two great CAS cards Sue...the first one is my absolute favourite but both are great. Hope Spring soon arrives with you but here of course it's the opposite....darker and darker every day...soon be the 'dark days of Christmas'. As you say whatever the weather we've always creating to do.
