Today on the Heartfelt Creations Blog you'll see the latest collection of design team cards. I have a couple of mine to share with you today. Check the tabs at the top of my page for the links to all the design team, I know you'll see lots of beautiful projects this week.
I call this a fold out card, I'm sure there is another name for them. I make these as cards to hand deliver usually with a matching box.
Here it is open, for this one I've used the pretty dsp to frame the wonderful die cut roses and leaf swirl .
The sentiment with it's loopy text marries so well I think. Here are the details:
I'm entering this card in the following challenge:

Die Cuttin' Divas - must include a Die-cut - #16 Celebration Cards (Tue)

Other Products: SU whisper white and kiwi kiss card, lemon and cream tissue paper, Memento tuxedo black ink, StazOn Jet Black ink (sentiment) SU kiwi kiss ink. Copic markers. MS lemon seam binding, pearl brad, Silver spacer. Tattered Angels Glimmer Mist, Zip Dry Glue, Art Glitter adhesive. Scotch foam tabs. Craft tape. Craft knife.
ScorPal, Grand Calibur Die Cutter.
Instructions:
From a sheet of 12x12” lemon card cut a strip 5” wide. Using the Grand labels 4 die cut and emboss one end only. Score and fold the card at 4” the 8” to give a double folded base of 4 x 5”.
From whisper white card and using labels 17 die cut one piece. To this stamp the sentiment using Stazon ink.
With tuxedo black ink stamps two open rose stems and one closed rose. With matching die cut these out then colour them with Copic markers.
Stamp the large Bella Rose leaves and two small fern from Bella Rose precut set onto kiwi kiss card in the same colour ink. Using the Matching dies cut these out.
With the fancy cut end at the top of the open card, at the second fold using a craft knife cut a slit along the fold line wide enough to slip a length of ribbon through. Thread the seam binding from the outside through the slit and secure with some tape across the middle section of the card. Layer this middle section with dsp flower bloom (covering the ribbon end). Arrange two open roses and the large leaves secure with zip dry and foam tape. Layer the bottom third of the card with dsp and centre the sentiment panel, adhere and attach the closed rose stem.
Close the card with the fancy edge on top. At about 1.75” up from the bottom edge of this section add the two die cut ferns and a second length of seam binding. Using the Posy Patch die cut a selection of three size petals from the cream and lemon tissue paper. Stack them and insert a brad through the silver spacer then the stack of petals secure at the back. Add this flower over the ribbon and fern to the front of the card using Art Glitter adhesive.
Scrunch the petals up and tie a pretty bow in the seam binding to complete.
My second card uses the pretty Bella Rose Vase and is little more CAS.
No popped up roses on this one just some paper piecing for the vase.
The camera hasn't picked up the glittery edges very well which is a shame.
I like the simplicity of this one and enjoyed the colouring.
