Hi Blogger's,
Thanks for calling past today, I'm back tomorrow with AnnaBelle Stamps sketch challenge. Why not drop in and join in the fun Andrea has a prize for one lucky person who takes this weeks challenge.
Till then............
After a day of colouring, cutting, and sticking I think I've caught up again......... So today I'm sharing my second card made for Heartfelt Creations this week.
I love all the beautiful frame dies Linda designs for Spellbinders and this card uses an oval one though I've taken out the cross section (window panes) for my card.
Here are the details:
5 x inch top fold card.
HC Products: HCPC 3319 Simple Filler Stems PreCut Set (sentiment)
HCPC 3318 Daisy Patch Flowers PreCut Set
HCPC 3405 Leaf Medley PreCut Set
Other Products:- Card:
Canson Cream and Bronze card. Melody Ross - Soul Food DSP. Scraps of SU Kiwi
Kiss card for leaves. Inks: SU Kiwi
Kiss. Ranger Tea Die Distress Ink. Stamp World clear embossing powder. Embellishments:
KaiserCraft self-adhesive pears in copper. Copper organza ribbon and Vandoros
cream and stitched ribbon. Other: Zip
Dry glue Dries Clear adhesive, Stix2 doubles sided polyester ultra sticky clear
tape. ScorPal , Grand Calibur. Stamp-a-ma-jig.
Instructions:
Trim and score bronze card to make a 5 x 5 inch card.
- Centre HCD 710 die on the front section of the bronze card, cut and emboss the opening. Fold the card at the 5” score line.
- From cream card die cut and emboss HCD 710. Sit this over the front opening on the card.
- From the clear cardstock cut a piece to measure 4-7/8” square. Add a length of tape to the top and bottom with the Stix2 1/8” tape. Add a few dots of Zip dry around the inside of the cream die cut shape. Adhere the clear cardstock to the front panel of the card from the inside. This will hold the cream die cut border in place.
- Trim a piece of self-patterned dsp to 4-7/8” square and add this to the inside of the card.
- Using tea die distress ink and a stamp-a-ma-jig centre stamp the sentiment to the dsp.
- From the same dsp and ink stamp three sets of flowers from HCPC 3318 (the first 4 size flowers – not the large one). Emboss with clear embossing powder and then with the matching die cut out the flowers.
- Stamp four of the smallest leaves from HCPC 3405 and cut and emboss with the matching die from the Spellbinders Foliage set.
- Shape and using Dries Clear adhesive layer the Daisy Patch flowers (I added and extra large layer to my centre on). Add a pearl to the centre of each.
- Arrange the three flowers and the leaves along the bottom of the card.
- Layer the two pieces of ribbon and tie a bow. Add this to the top of the card with Stix2 clear tape.
