HAPPY ST PATRICK'S DAY!!
Hello friends, I'm so pleased you called past today and hope you've got a relaxing week end planned! No open house for us this week....yeah! Thinking I'll be able to confirm some good news early on next week:).
The rain has returned to Sydney after some beautiful weather.....never mind the birds love it!
I have a little card to share today that I started at the beginning of the week with AnnaBelle Stamps Yellow and White challenge in mind. It just wasn't coming together for me so I put it to one side. Then last night I picked up the coloured daisy cut it out and this is the end result! Seemed like a good card for St Patrick's Day too! What do you think?
I embossed the daisy from ABS squared posies using opaque vanilla ep to BLACK card. Then coloured the daisy with Prisma Pencils and Zest It. Once the daisy was cut out I've adhered it to some lemon card. Seam binding wrapped with ABS fine hemp twine secures the sentiment banner. A double punched glittered butterfly hovers over the banner too.
The pre folded pale green card has been stamped using ABS background by design 3 and Memento new sprout ink. It just adds a little interest to the card base.
So there you have it ......Not quite the yellow and white card.....but I quite like it.
I hope you'll keep an eye on this little blog as I have a sweet little project to share with you very soon. Without giving too much away, I've been playing over at Pinterest and found a really fun little project that I thought I might case.......Can't wait to share......
Have a great week end, the boss and I are off to the soccer this evening last home game for our team so keeping our fingers crossed for a win. It would be great to be in the finals and even better if it was at home :)
GO MARINERS!
