Hello,
Today I'm joining the girls from Scrapbook Boutique for the July Blog Hop and Inspirational Challenge, hope you'll join us for both.
The Hop starts and ends at the Scrapbook Boutique Blog. If you're following along you should have arrived from Sue K's blog and when you leave me you hop over to Therese's Blog.
The hop is open for one week, closing at midday Tuesday 17th July.
Unfortunately the blog hop prize (and the inspiration challenge) are only open to anyone with an Australian mailing address.
I think you'll enjoy the prize this month from Penny Black
Make a project using the following picture as your inspiration and "make one for the boys" You could be the winner of a $30 gift voucher for Scrapbook Boutique.
(Link your project on the SB Blog before 31/7/12)
I had some fun with Distress ink markers for the main panel on my card.
Just scribbling some ink to the back of an acrylic block and spritzing with water, then pressing to some watercolour card. Love the way it blends the faded jeans and worn lipstick.
Then I flicked some watered down faded jeans over the dried card and sponged some areas I'd masked with a heart shape.
Next I added stamps from Prima Marketing Musicale stamp set.
It's starting to take shape but I wanted to add a bit of sparkle, so sprayed some Mister Huey's Calico shine over the card and wrapped some silver twine, finishing it off at the back of the card.
My base card is 4.25" x 5.5" with a layer of embossed blue card. The folder is Spellbinders
M-Bossabilities - So Trendy.
A layer of gingham card from lilybee designs 'Double Dutch' followed by two banners hand cut from core'dinations card stock.
I'm loving how much fun you can have with these new distress markers......Have you tried them yet?
Off you go to Therese's blog I'm sure her beautiful project will inspire you to join in.........
