Hello Blogger's,
We hope you can join us again this month by adding your creations to the SBB Blog. Thanks for calling past....Now on with the HOP!
Today I'm joining the girls from Scrapbook Boutique for the August Blog Hop and Inspirational Challenge, hope you'll join us for both.
The Hop starts and ends at the Scrapbook Boutique Blog. If you're following along you should have arrived from Sue K's blog and when you leave me you hop over to Therese's Blog.
The hop is open for one week, closing at midday Friday 17th August.
Unfortunately the blog hop prize (and the inspiration challenge) are only open to anyone with an Australian mailing address.
Why not play along with our regular monthly inspirational challenge.
Make a project using the following picture as your inspiration and remember
"All a flutter, add a butterfly"
You could be the winner of a $30 gift voucher for Scrapbook Boutique.
(Link your project on the SB Blog before 31/8/12)
For my card this month I played some more with my Distress Markers to colour the card for my butterfly.......Just scribble a selection of colours to an acrylic block and spritz with water before stamping over a piece of white card. Add some sparkle with pearlex or glimmer mist. Or as I have here by adding Star Dust Stickles to the die cut butterfly.
Masking and sponging with shabby shutters and peeled paint distress inks before stamping Hero Arts Designer Woodgrain.
Die cutting Spellbinders Labels 25 from LillyBee's Double Dutch DP. Removing an oval from the label to reveal white card for the stamped sentiment.
Add a die cut Flourish with the butterfly sitting over this to complete the card.
Great card Sue. Love all the textures and patterns and the CAS design.
