A Luminaire, AnnaBelle style!

It's been a bit quiet around here blogger's!!! Walshie and I spent a week in Melbourne, business for him, and shopping for me......Well a bit of shopping nothing over the top! I managed to catch up with some friends too which was fun.

Whilst I was away I missed a new stamp and die release from AnnaBelle, did you join in the hop to win a lovely Christmas set with a matching die?  Hope so.

Andrea also released a fabulous border die this month that I was, pardon the pun 'dying' to play with.
Flameless candles were everywhere in Melbourne so with this in mind I thought about using the die to create a Luminaire.

Basically four  die cut borders which I adhered to four corner scored strips.  The tube when formed is adhered to a square base and it's here that I place my battery operated tea light.
I used a Memory Box die to tiz up the front of my Luminaire, adding some pearls and AnnaBelle's fine hemp twine.  I also made and decorated a small saucer to stand the Luminaire in........what do you think?

It looks pretty in the dark  too......though not so easy to photograph:)

Hope you checked out all the Belle's projects last Friday........they were all gorgeous!

See you Friday for AnnaBelle's usual Friday challenge............bye!

  13. oooh, I love your luminary! I just bought two flameless tea lights because they were on sale at Dollar General and something like this would be perfect for them. Thanks for the idea, maybe I can come up with something using some of my "stuff".
