Hi Bloggers, first day of a new month and over the halfway point of 2013.....Oh my, so soon!
July 1 ......Goodbye Google Reader! I'm using Bloglovin to stay in touch and hopefully have everyone linked up so I don't miss a thing. I'm not the every day blogger I was when I started this, but I hope you'll all check in with me from time to time :-)
July 1 is the first day of the new financial year here is Australia......Happy New Year haha!!
My little piggy bank is feeling quite full so I see some crafty shopping to kick start the new year.....maybe on our trip home, which is fast approaching.

It was the first image I inked up when it arrived at my house. I love the solid colour with clear details which stamps beautifully and as a bonus hand cuts well too!
So here's my first Beautiful Blooms card, I'm sure there will be lots more.......
I stamped two images with a third to a scrap of white card which I hand cut and popped up in the centre. The background card is a digitally printed piece, using Pink Petticoats NEW Ombre line. This colour is called dainty daffodil, pretty don't you think? The blooms stamped beautifully using Hero Arts butter bar ink.
What I've been up to over the week end:
Friday was Mah Jong with the girls. We meet at a local cafe where we can enjoy coffee and cake whilst we play for a couple of hours.
More sorting as I settle into my crafting space. It's a slow process when you just can't resist flicking through ....one or two.
Cooking...... The weather's turned cool and it's been quite wet, so comfort food is the order of the day. It's fun when the boss joins in too........ cos he's brilliant at presentation! Unlike me, who just gets it on the plate :)
Hope you enjoyed a pleasant week end.
Thanks for calling past today.........see you soon :)
Love the card! How did you get hooked up with mahjong?
ReplyDeleteAll about the presentation here too, Sue, when it comes to food. Ash has been known to comment on things being 'beautifully plated'!
ReplyDeleteLove your card, that yellow has such warmth. Gorgeous.
xx M
What a gorgeous card. Love the colour.
ReplyDeleteGlad to hear I'm not the only one who gets side tracked putting things away.
Great pic of the green foliage. What is it? It looks a bit like grass up real close. Can you tell I don't have a green thumb.
Lucky you going on a trip.
It's the Agapanthus leaves Vicki...We have beautiful blue around the front of the house with white in another border :)
ReplyDeleteWhat a fabulous card - so bright and cheerful! I have these stamps and can't wait to play with them!!!
ReplyDeleteGorgeous card Sue, LOVE how you have faded the yellow background! I'm with you and can't believe that it's already the middle of the year....
ReplyDeleteSuch a lovely and gentle card - it makes me relax just looking at it. The colour gradient is superb!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful! Simply beautiful :) Hugs Bev x
