I have made these before as little desk sets and  cut them on the PI which just leaves the decorating so here we go what do you think?

Heartfelt Creations - Sharing Together

It's turned cold, wet and a bit miserable her in Sydney, the perfect weather for curling up with a good book and some hot chocolate........well that's my plan anyway.
Today's HC  card features Bella Rose once again and I have to tell you I've had such fun this month colouring the roses.  Red roses are gorgeous though my favourite would be the pretty Peace Rose......sadly the possums like them too!
You can see this and all the design team cards at the Heartfelt Creations Blog or individual dt members are posted under the DT tab at the top of the page.

Here are the details:
5.75 inches square card.

HC Products:              HCPC 3392 Tea With Bella PreCut Set
HCPC 3394 Bella Rose PreCut Set
                                    HCD 712 Bella Rose Di
                                    Spellbinders Fleur De Lis Border
                                    Spellbinder Labels 2
DSP g.c.d. Studios  - Ashley – Elle Blue Collection
                                    Burgundy Card.

Other Products:         LSS White Card, SU Sahara Sand, dsp Kaisercraft – After Five Collection.  Memento Tuxedo Black Ink, Koh-i-noor Pencils OMS, Silver pen,
Burgundy Organza Ribbon, Clear gems.  Scotch Foam Layering Tape, Zip Dry adhesive, ScorPal, and Cuttlebug.

Instructions:
Trim score and fold white card to make a 5.75” square card base.
On Sahara Sand card stamp main image, sentiment, one closed rose stem and three buds using tuxedo black ink.  Using the matching dies cut the three buds and the closed rose stem. Using the Labels 2 die cut and emboss the main image. Trim the sentiment. Colour all with Koh-i-noor pencils and OMS. Using the silver pen add highlights to the main image.  Pop up the closed rose stem and bud with foam tape.
Trim Burgundy card followed by the After Five dsp making each 1/8’ smaller than the previous layer. Adhere these with Zip Dry adhesive.
Trim Elle Blue Ashley dsp to 5.25” square and adhere to card.
Using the fleur De Lis die cut one strip from the Burgundy Card and adhere to left side of card.  Wrap a length of burgundy organza ribbon around the card and secure at the back.  Tie a bow in another length and using a foam tab attach to the right side of the card.
Using foam tape, attach the image to the centre of the main card.   Add a strip of clear gems to the left edge of the Fleur De Lis strip.
Mat the sentiment to a piece of burgundy card add the two rose buds using more Zip Dry adhesive.
Adhere the card front to the base card using Zip Dry glue.

Now just as an end note I have to tell you that the ladies from Heartfelt Creations introduced me to Zip Dry glue a product made by Beacon Adhesives. I've never seen it here in Australia but I love it!!! I hardly use the double sided craft tape these days as this though drying quickly allows  you a moment to straighten if you need to. I do go over with a brayer but not always it still dries smooth, no wrinkles and it dries clear.  Fabulous! Thought I'd share.......

See you soon.........

Heartfelt Creations x 2

Today on the Heartfelt Creations Blog you'll see the latest collection of design team cards.  I have a couple of mine to share with you today. Check the tabs at the top of my page for the links to all the design team, I know you'll see lots of beautiful projects this week.

I call this a fold out card, I'm sure there is another name for them.  I make these as cards to hand deliver usually with a matching box.

Here it is open, for this one I've used the pretty dsp to frame the wonderful die cut roses and leaf swirl .
The sentiment with it's loopy text marries so well I think.  Here are the details:
I'm entering this card in the following challenge:
Claudia Stamp Co -  #82 Girls Birthday Card (Tues)
Die Cuttin' Divas - must include a Die-cut - #16 Celebration Cards (Tue)
My Time To Craft -  #142 Die Cuts (Tue)
Mellow Yellow fold out card.

5.4 inch closed card.

HC Products:            HCPC 3394 Classic Bella Rose PreCut Set.
HCPC 3390 Bella Rose Leaves PreCut Set
HCPC 3319 Simple Filler Stems PreCut Set
                                    HCD 712 Bella Rose Die
                                    HCD 701 Post Patch Die
                                    Spellbinders Grand Labels 4
                                    Spellbinders Labels 17
Yellow Core’dinations DSP Pinkpaislee Flower Blooms

Other Products:         SU whisper white and kiwi kiss card, lemon and cream tissue paper, Memento tuxedo black ink, StazOn Jet Black ink (sentiment) SU kiwi kiss ink. Copic markers. MS lemon seam binding, pearl brad, Silver spacer.  Tattered Angels Glimmer Mist, Zip Dry Glue, Art Glitter adhesive. Scotch foam tabs. Craft tape. Craft knife.
ScorPal, Grand Calibur Die Cutter.

Instructions:
From a sheet of 12x12” lemon card cut a strip 5” wide.  Using the Grand labels 4 die cut and emboss one end only.  Score and fold the card at 4” the 8” to give a double folded base of 4 x 5”.
From whisper white card and using labels 17 die cut one piece. To this stamp the sentiment using Stazon ink.
With tuxedo black ink stamps two open rose stems and one closed rose. With matching die cut these out then colour them with Copic markers.
Stamp the large Bella Rose leaves and two small fern from Bella Rose precut set onto kiwi kiss card in the same colour ink. Using the Matching dies cut these out.
With the fancy cut end at the top of the open card, at the second fold using a craft knife cut a slit along the fold line wide enough to slip a length of ribbon through. Thread the seam binding from the outside through the slit and secure with some tape across the middle section of the card. Layer this middle section with dsp flower bloom (covering the ribbon end). Arrange two open roses and the large leaves secure with zip dry and foam tape.  Layer the bottom third of the card with dsp and centre the sentiment panel, adhere and attach the closed rose stem.
Close the card with the fancy edge on top.  At about 1.75” up from the bottom edge of this section add the two die cut ferns and a second length of seam binding. Using the Posy Patch die cut a selection of three size petals from the cream and lemon tissue paper. Stack them and insert a brad through the silver spacer then the stack of petals secure at the back.   Add this flower over the ribbon and fern to the front of the card using Art Glitter adhesive.
Scrunch the petals up and tie a pretty bow in the seam binding to complete.

My second card uses the pretty Bella Rose Vase and is little more CAS.

No popped up roses on this one just some paper piecing for the vase.
The camera hasn't picked up the glittery edges very well which is a shame.
I like the simplicity of this one and enjoyed the colouring.

Bella Rose Vase 2
5 x 5 inch card.

HC Products:            HCPC 3395 Bella Rose Vase PreCut Set

Other Products:         LSS White Card, Dark Green. DSP Kaisercraft Lilac Avenue Collection.  Ink SU Kiwi Kiss,
Memento Tuxedo Black. Zip Dry Glue, Art Glitter dries clear adhesive. 3m foam tabs. Prisma Pencils and OMS.

Colour image with Prisma Pencils and OMS. Adhere the vase to the image with Zip Dry glue.
Trim image to 3.5 inches square. Trim a piece of dark green card to 1/8” larger and round opposite corners of both pieces.

A Male Birthday Card.

Hi Blogger's

Before I show you my card for today I just want to share a couple of wins I've had recently.....Yes  I know it's called blowing your own trumpet........ I promise not to make a habit of it :)  Thanks to the challenge blogs ladies...... glad you liked these.

This little project was amongst the top picks at Raise The Bar here. Also over at Inspire me Friday here
I was asked for the template for this one and I'm happy to share though I designed mine on the PI I have a PDF (untested) if you email me I can send it you. The instructions are under the Tutorials tab.

Remember this one? This is the card I made for AnnaBelle Stamps last blog Hop !!!!   Shame I had the wrong theme........but  it got picked in the top three in Creative Inspirations here.

OK enough trumpet blowing from me lets get on with today's card.

Walshie asked me to make a card to send to his cousin in the UK ....... I love it when he asks, but a male card...... So turned to one of the comic stamps I have from Brake For Stamps. Love this image which today I coloured with my new Inktense water pencils. The card is from a new (to me) paper pad from KaiserCraft called Nan's Favourite Collection.

What do you think?   I computer generated the sentiment and coloured the chipboard numbers with a Copic marker.

We'll see what Walshie thinks when he comes in tonight........I may have to whiz up another one quick!

I'm entering this in the following Challenges:

Make it Monday - Always anything goes
Stamping Scrapping Central  - Masculine (Mon)
I Did It Creations - Anything Goes   (Sun)

Tomorrow is Heartfelt Creations day, hope to see you for that..................

AnnaBelle Stamps - Say It With Tear Drop Pearls

Hello Blogger's ............Yes it's true, today at AnnaBelle Stamps the challenge is to Say It With Tear Drop Pearls.........Stop laughing right now! I know I got it wrong on Tuesday for the Blog Hop.... Which is still running by the way, so time to add your name for a chance of the prize. In fact you can enter a few competitions check them out at the AnnaBelle Blog, in the side bar.

Back to today, these pearls are such a great embellishment and instantly add an elegant touch to your card or dimensional project.  I've made a little gift set to show a couple of ways to use them and seeing as how I made the goof on Tuesday I've also used the two sets I should have showcased then **wink**
Daisy Delights and Daisy Delights Silhouette. Andrea is offering both sets at a special price of $19.95 during the Blog Hop week if you're looking for some versatile sets this might be for you. The  single daisies are a good size to cut by hand too.

My card features Daisy Delights and I've also used the AnnaBelle set Flourishes which gives you a stamped swirl to add your own pearls or gems, too easy with a dab of glue from a quickie glue pen.

Flourishes is one of the sets reduced this month check them all out here.

My gift box features Daisy Delights Silhouette which when stamped gives you a lovely 3.5 inch coverage which can be used alone of added to another great set 'All Squared'.  On the box lid I've used a slightly larger tear drop pearl and a few pink gems added randomly to the spray of flowers.

So there you have it, hope you'll play along with us this week and if you need some more inspiration why not go visit with the Belles.  All the links are in the tab at the top of my page.

This little project is entered in the following Challenges:

Make It Monday# 37  - Anything goes.

Design Divas OBG Blog Hop

Yeah.... you made it 'down under' I know it's a long way to Sydney but I'm pleased you came.  I'll be tucked up in bed when this hop starts so please ....keep the noise down!

I'm joining in with the Design Divas Blog Hop today.  We all belong to a private group on Facebook with some of the members from the original group that started over on SCS.  Every month the Divas show cards made with older products hence Oldies But Goodies (OBG).

Today's Blog Hop started with Cindy. If you arrived here from  Shelly's blog you're on track. When you leave me you step back across the water to the very talented Sharri's blog........I'm tired just thinking about it, but can't wait to see all the projects.

Here's my card today:

I've used a favourite Waltzingmouse set 'Victorian Frippery' for my card.  This set was released July 2010 so not that old :).  I've teamed it with Websters Pages dsp, just enough left for my card ...phew.  A strip of M S punched garden trellis in Vanilla card stock.  Organza ribbon, a hand rolled felt rose. The felt goes back to the days I used to embroider :). Finishing off with a Spellbinders die cut butterfly, dressed to the nines in gold glitter.  Oh did I say the ink is SU peach parfait.

Thanks for taking the time to drop by, on with the Hop........
