It's time to start the celebrations and I'm so pleased you're here to join in......
First of all, congratulations to our Blinkie winner Amy. Have fun with your new stamps and hopefully you'll share your creations with us in our weekly challenges :).
Kylie and I host today's challenge for AnnaBelle Stamps 2nd Birthday Celebrations. We hope you'll join in as we get to pick the project to win today's prize........hope it's you!!!
We're issuing a 1,2,3, challenge:-
1. One New Stamp (Any new Stamp but if you have ABS use your latest purchase :))
2. Die Cuts/Punch Shapes
3. Bling
You have until 12pm Aust. EST September 14th to link your entries on either of our blogs (see the linky thingie at the bottom of this post) and the prize..... 1 x 6 x 4 ABS set of your choice and 3 packs of 6mm Sprinkles. Don't forget if you enter this and the next two challenges (total 3) you'll be in the running for the amazing major prize..........The complete August release and 6 packs of 6mm Sprinkles. Check the ABS Blog for all the details.
Using the circular image which I haven't inked until now. My card base is SU Sahara sand and I've layered some Kaisercraft dsp (Blae & Ivy 6.5" Pad) over some punched American Craft card. Then I die cut a window using Spellbinders Labels 9, enabling me to stamp a sentiment to the card base in SU not quite navy. 3 tiny blueberry Sprinkles within the frame for my bling. Some lime hemp cord wrapped and finished in a bow before this layer is popped up on foam dots. The circular image was stamped twice on SS card a Spellbinder circle die cut one image and I hand cut the inner flower shape of the second image to sit over the main flower. The centre of the flower is a punched circle, stamped with one of the accent stamps from the set. I snipped around the edge of the circle and added one more Sprinkle for the centre :) before popping it up with a foam dot to complete the flower. The stamped circle is adhered to the card base with foam tape.
I couldn't resist making a little gift box to match this card.......it's a little cutie I cut using my P I. I'm afraid it's been ages since I've had time to play with my die cutting machine and it's such fun! I plan to rectify that though...... over the summer.
You could make a similar box by scoring and cutting ....... It measures 4" x 2-3/8" and 7/8" deep. Just right to hold three treat size chocolates. A Spellbinder heart and scalloped heart could cut the window and a scalloped border punch could give you the fancy edge on the lid! I used the small accent stamp again over the SS card and I've added three more Sprinkles and a trimmed down flower to complete my gift box.
Well that's it for me but don't forget to go check in with Kylie I'm sure she'll have a gorgeous creation to share. Our third and last challenge will be hosted by Patti and Marion so don't miss that on Monday 12th.
Good Luck everyone..........
