Today we're celebrating the Queen's Birthday, which makes me laugh really......nothing to do the with the Queen, I think she's pretty amazing!  No, it's because it's a holiday they don't celebrate in the UK....well they never used to :)  Anyway, I hope Q E enjoys a wonderful day in our house we'll be assembling Ikea bookcases......what fun!

I've used the Muse Challenge #20 card from Laurie as the inspiration for my card this week.

As per my Topical Tuesday post this week, this card uses Faber Castell Gelatos to colour a panel before stamping the image in Gesso.  

I've taken the colour turquoise from Laurie's card, with the repeated image stamping. Adding extra texture with the natural card stock, fine hemp twine and button.

This was the first one I picked and here's my card featuring 'Fanciful Flowers'......

....but I also liked this sketch

Lat time I flipped it for my card, so today I made a Monochromatic card using the owls from  'Whooo Loves Christmas' and the sketch as is! The sentiment is from 'Love Birds'.

Feature Friday 009 - Och eye the noo.....

I was inspired by Therese's Topical Tuesday post last week and gave her tartan a try........what fun!

AnnaBelle's BBD 7 is the set to use for this and there are so many possibilities, you have to try :)

My tartan was inked in Memento's Grey Flannel, Bamboo Leaves and SU Poppy Parade.  Cuts By Design 002 shapes 1 die cut the label shape. To the label I added a  double button finished with ABS fine twine. 

I also used the musical score from BBD6 for the distressed panel stamped in Memento London Fog.

Even the sentiment comes from the very first BBD 'Numbers'.
