Scrapbook Boutique October Blog Hop.

It's time for another BLOG HOP and Inspirational Challenge from Scrapbook Boutique .

The Hop starts and ends at the Scrapbook Boutique Blog.  If you're following along you should have arrived from Narelle's blog and when you leave me you hop over to Therese's Blog.

The hop is open for one week, closing at midday Friday17th October.
To be eligible to win the prize, leave a comment on each of the blogs, with the SB blog being the last one.  The random winner will be drawn from the  SB blog and announced on Saturday 18th.

Unfortunately the blog hop prize (and the inspiration challenge) are only open to anyone with an Australian mailing address.

Join the Blog Hop and you could be the lucky person to receive
a $10 gift voucher to spend in the store.

Join us if you can for our regular monthly inspirational challenge.
Make a project using the following picture as your inspiration.

My card uses the pretty colours as well as pearls and a bow.

I've partially stamped a wreath using Versa Mark ink and positioned the pretty Prima flowers adding a few extra pearls.
The sentiment is stamped to velum and using my We R Memory Keepers Envelope punch Board I've made the small bow which is finished with a pearl.

Making the ribbon bow in one piece:

  • Trim a strip of velum 7/8" wide x 7" long.
  • Punch at the mid section (3.5") on both edges by flipping the velum over.
  • Punch on both edges at 1.5" . Do this on both ends of the velum.
  • Punch in the middle of the 7/8" wide ends to finish of the ribbon tails.
  • Gently roll the bow and adhere in the middle to make the loops, turning the ribbon tails back under the loops.
  • Finish of the centre with a pearl.

Thanks for taking the time today, now on with the Hop...........

My turn to post a card for Scrapbook Boutique so how about a Christmas one.

I used Ho Ho Holly and Merry Cursive.

You can see this card and read how I put it together over at the Scrapbook Boutique Blog today.

Paradise Hummingbird Get Well Wishes

Uniko Studio's Paradise- Hummingbird is such a lovely image, but I couldn't resist 'freeing' it's wing for this one level card.

An embossed 1/8" border frames the image with an icicle gem added for an eye!

Sweethearts.......

I coloured this little LOTV image before going back to the UK so it's more than time to add it to a card...........don't you think?

I picked up these embossed card bases in the UK, they're from Dovecraft. Six inch square means you can go berserk with embellishments, if that's your thing!
I used Prisma's with some added sparkle for a few highlights to colour the image.
To embellish , just a selection of pretty buttons from AnnaBelle Stamps and some teal seam binding.
