Heartfelt Creations

Hello,

I've a couple of cards to share for this week Heartfelt Creation showcase. You can see all the designers cards on the Heartfelt Creations Blog, but the girls would love you to pay them a visit! All the links are under the Design Team tag at the top of my page.

When I first saw this foliage stamp I thought of Christmas trees and just had to make one Christmas card with it........

4.25 x 5.75 inch - top fold card.

HC Products:  HCPC 3408 Woodland Fern PreCut Set.

Other Products:
RomanPrint: Ivory card in plain and textured. Scraps of Kaisercraft dsp. SU Pear Pizzazz ink. Martha Stewart: Florentine gold coarse glitter. LSS tiny red gems. Glintex: gold foil thread.  LSS gold gem star. EK Success: corner rounder. Piercing tool.
AnnaBelle: red/white twine. Paper Mill: foam adhesive pads. Zip Dry glue and Dries Clear adhesive.

Instructions:
1.     Trim textured A4 ivory card to 4.25 in wide, score and fold to make a 4.25 x 5.75” top fold card.
2.     Trim plain ivory card to 4 x 5.5” and stamp one complete fern image in the centre of the card using p.p. ink.  Mask the bottom of the fern stamp then stamp off the page either side of the main image 2 smaller images.
3.     Trim the scrap of dsp to make the tubs for the trees, using a corner rounder to shape the bottom of the tubs. Glue into position with Zip Dry. Tie a bow in the twine and add to the front of the centre tub, using Dries Clear to adhere.
4.     Add the tiny red gems to decorate the centre tree. Using a piercing tool piece a small hole fore and aft of the gems ready to add the gold foil thread.
5.     Starting from the bottom zigzag the foil through the pierced holes up one side then down the other. Secure the ends of the foil at the back of the ivory card.
6.     Add the star to the top of the tree.
7.     Run some Zip Dry glue around the edge of the card and sprinkle with the glitter.
8.     Add foam dots to the back of the stamped image and attach to the textured card base.

I really like the pretty colours in this second card Framed Wishes............
