Scrapbook Boutique - December Blog Hop

It's time for Scrapbook Boutique's December Blog Hop and Inspirational Challenge.  It's a busy time for everyone but we hope you can join in with the festive fun here at the Scrapbook Boutique.

Here's what you you need to know.........
The Hop starts and ends at the Scrapbook Boutique Blog.  If you're following along you should have arrived from Sue K's fabulous blog and when you leave me you hop over to the equally talented Therese's Blog.

The hop is open for one week, closing at midday Saturday 17th December.
To be eligible to win the prize, leave a comment on each of the blogs, with the SB blog being the last one.  The random winner will be drawn from the  SB blog and announced on Sunday 18th.
Unfortunately the blog hop prize (and the inspiration challenge) are only open to anyone with an Australian mailing address.

The Blog Hop prize this month is: Prima: North Country.

We would love you to play along with our regular monthly inspirational challenge.
The theme is Pink, Blue, Red and White. Make a project using the following picture as your inspirationand you could be the winner of a $30 gift voucher for Scrapbook Boutique.
(Link your project on the SB Blog before 31/12/11)

I've used a pretty Hero Arts Stamp called Branch & Flourish Tree for my card. Embossed in opaque white  over red core'dinations colorcore card, some machine stitching frames the image. The sentiment is computer generated and sits over Spellbinders Fleur De Lis Accents border.......yum!
3 pearls complete the card.

Thanks for calling past today, enjoy the rest of the hop.

Opps......I'm sorry I said in my original post this border was the Spellbinders Grand Lace border, when in fact it is Spellbinders Fleur De Lis Accents. I got it right in the products list though........sorry if I've confused you all!

Hi Sue - sorry I've not commented lately, but I've been so busy. I have dropped by to see your cards. I really like this tree - so pretty, and the border is so elegant too. I do like the poppy card you posted a few days ago too - it's fab!

Your card is just lovely and sometimes the most simple ideas are the most effective. Love that tree, and the white embossing really makes it, and i agree with Narelle, that shapeability die is nice.
Thanks for a look, off to hop.
