Simple Stories Recipe Book Part One for SBB

Hello,

I kept busy before leaving for the UK with this little project for Scrapbook Boutique............Well for me too really, it's another step in organising my life!

I'm sure I'm not the only person who collects scribbled recipes from friends. Please tell me you too punch holes into rice packets because that recipe looks interesting and you never know, one day you might just have enough cooked rice left over along with some lamb!  I've been collection recipes for years and lots of them are real family favourites.  My problem is that I either 'stuff' them between the pages of my favourite chef's 'masterpiece'.....or into this back plastic A4 folder.

I was browsing through the Scrapbook Boutique on line store (go take a look, it's like Aladdin's cave for us Paper crafters ) where I found these fabulous Journals  with  8.5" x 7"plastic inserts. They're part of the Simple Stories range, I chose the one bound in red.  The range also includes a 6 x 6 paper pack of double sided design paper. 4 x 6 Journal cards as well as Recipe inserts.  Everything I'd need to make up my own recipe book, perfect!

Today, on the Scrapbook Boutique blog you can find how I've 'dressed' the front of my recipe book as well as a look at the inside page.  I've share another post showing a couple of my recipe pages a little later on and maybe swap a recipe or two :)

Thanks for calling past.

Fabulous project. Thank you for sharing,
I'm a little guilty of all those things - and I don't just keep recipes :) Patterns to last forever!
