Waltzinmouse Male card.

I think I should keep a couple of these belated Birthday cards!!!!  I know I was late mailing my last birthday card and it had a long way to go.  Have I mentioned I have 5 brothers and 2 sisters who have all produced 14 nieces and nephews.  Now some of these have their own littlies!!!  Arghhhhhh

I wanted to make a male card using a Waltzingmouse set called Faux Fun Circles .  Below is how I made the card for those who read such things!  I was quite pleased with this though I did have to add a little ribbon~~~ not too girlie ~~~ and a wooden star ~~~ that's OK right??

I'll be back tomorrow with a card for the AnnaBelle Say it in...challenge, which is certainly more girlie!!!  Hope you'll drop by.
Till then.........

Method.
1.  Top fold some 4.25" wide white card making it shorter on the front than the back. Punch the front edge with a Fiskar's Upper Crest punch.  Run a 2 x4.25" piece of Craft card through the Cuttlebug with a Swiss dots embossing folder. Adhere to the inside edge of the front of the card.
2. Punch the bottom of some American Craft burnt orange card as above. Using VersaMark stamp the small leaf image over this card  (hard to see I know in this photo!).
3. Cut a strip of Dp from KaiserCraft Up and Away Collection 6x6" paper pad.  Pierce top and bottom them attach to the B O card. Wrap some ribbon around B O card and attach the wooden star with some silk thread tied off in a bow.  Attach to card base.
4. Stamp image to Craft card using Memento Potters Clay ink. Cut and emboss with a Spellbinder circle die.  Pierce each scallop.

5. Stamp sentiment from  WMS Fancy Phrases with Potters Clay onto PL pure white card. Cut and attach to the centre of the circle with foam tape.  The completed circle is attached to the card with fine foam tape.

This is a great masculine card Sue. I love the colors. The ribbon with the star is perfect and I always love the way you use your punches. My DH and three grandsons have birthdays this month. Needed some ideas!
