Heartfelt Creations - A cheery kind of day



Here's another card from the Heartfelt Creations Springtime Cardinal Collection.   Please take a look at all the cards over at the Heartfelt Creations Blog is you have a moment........there are so many stunning projects over there.

On Saturday (my time) I have something a bit different to share I hope you'll call back.

Here's the card details:

HC Products:  HCPC 3386 Cheery Cardinal PreCut Set.
                        HCPC3303 Posy Patch Flowers PreCut Set
                        HCD701 Posy Patch Die.
       
Other Products:  X-Press It Blending Card, American Craft Card Vanilla, DSP Cosmo Cricket – Material Girl In Stitches. Memento Tuxedo Black Ink, Rangers, Antique Linen Distress Ink, Copic Markers, Jute, Eyelet, Hole punch, Sewing Machine, ProvoCraft Silent Setter. ScorPal, Craft Glue, Double sided Tape. The Essential Glue Pad – Tsukineko. Martha Stewart Crystal coarse glitter and a Kaisercraft gold gem.

Instructions:
Score and fold Vanilla card to make a 5-inch square card base.
Stamp image to X-Press It blending card, colour with Copic markers and trim to 4.25 x 4.5 inches.  Distress edges (with scissors) and sponge with Antique Linen.
Stamp two posy petals, colour with copic's and cut with die. Shape and attach to card front with craft glue.
Trim dsp to 4 7/8 square, position stamped image to lower right hand corner and machine stitch 4 sides.  Adhere this panel to card base with double-sided tape.
Stamp sentiment to scrap of blending card cut to 7/8 x 2.5 Inches and sponge the edges with Antique Linen.  Add the eyelet to top corner and thread the jute through, wrap it twice around the card front and finish in a bow knotting the ends of the jute.  Add a small piece of tape to secure the sentiment tag if needed.
Stamp 3 Posy petals and die cut. Colour with Copic’s and shape Touch the petals to The Essential Glue Pad and sprinkle with Martha Stewart crystal coarse glitter.  ‘Build the flower’ by adding a dot of craft glue to the centre of each add a gold gem to the top one.  Add the flower to the card front with craft glue.
