Scrapbook Boutique - November Blog Hop and Inspirational Challenge.

Hello Blogger's,

It's time for a Scrapbook Boutique November Blog Hop and Inspirational Challenge, hope you'll join us for both.

The Hop starts and ends at the Scrapbook Boutique Blog.  If you're following along you should have arrived from Sue's blog and when you leave me you hop over to Therese's Blog.

The hop is open for one week, closing at midday Saturday 17th October.
To be eligible to win the prize, leave a comment on each of the blogs, with the SB blog being the last one.  The random winner will be drawn from the  SB blog and announced on Sunday18th.

Unfortunately the blog hop prize (and the inspiration challenge) are only open to anyone with an Australian mailing address.

Evelyn has a beautiful set for this month's prize. One lucky person will receive
Lost & Found 3 "Ruby" from MME

Why not play along with our regular monthly inspirational challenge.
Make a project using the following picture as your inspiration.

You could be the winner of a $30 gift voucher for Scrapbook Boutique.

(Link your project on the SB Blog before 31/11/12

So this month we want you to show us your white creations :)

For my card I've been inspired by a little bit of sparkle as well as stars and snowflakes.

Die cut  the second largest star from Smooth White card and add a good layer of Art Glitter dries Clear adhesive. Sprinkle with the Diamond Dust and leave until the glue is dry before shaking off any excess glitter.  This beautiful glitter catches the light and is just about the prettiest I've tried :).

Take a piece of smooth white card cut to 3-7/8" x 5-1/8" and emboss with any seasonal e.f. I used a Cuttlebug Snowflakes one but the Cuttlebug Stars would have been perfect :)!

Using the largest star die, die cut a star shape, off the page. It helps to use the glittered star to position this cut.

Wrap some white ribbon around the embossed layer, finishing with a bow.

Add plenty of foam adhesive squares to the back of the cut layer and position on a card base.
Adhere the glittered star within the large die cut space.
Zip Dry glue is my choice of wet glue, it holds very well once dry but  gives you enough time to position things correctly.

Die cut the letters to spell JOY from smooth white card and emboss with a Swiss dots e.f. before adding to the card front with more adhesive foam.

Hope you'll join us again this month......now on with the hop!
