Celebrate The Season - One card three challenges!!

Hi Bloggers,

just a quick post before Walshie and I head off for the weekend.
The Pixie cottage has some Blog Candy on offer . This Blog Candy includes six Pixie Cottage stamps, including one mystery stamp from a new illustrator that will be joining them soon. I've seen the little girl pulling her sledge used on a card and it is very sweet but I think I like the Reindeer! Don't have a Reindeer in my collection and he looks kinda sweet all decked out in his Christmas best!! Go check this out for yourself and while you're there check all the other gorgeous stamps available.

My card today uses another of my Victoria Case images 'Snow Fall'. Just look at these happy faces... they don't mind that it's cold....and I hear snow has started to fall over in the US so you guys will be getting used to cooler temperatures too.

To my base card I added a layer of SU Baja Breeze that was embossed with Swiss dots. Then I added a layer of Eskimo Kisses from Basic Grey and this layer was popped up on foam tape.
I've punched a scalloped border along the bottom of more of the BG paper and added some clear gems from Martha Stewart. I wrapped some white ribbon along with the silver thread and tied a bow to the side and my computer generated sentiment sits just beneath this.
The image was sized and printed then coloured with Copics....then I thought I'd play with glitter....... not my favourite pastime but it worked quite well .....hooray! I matted this to a piece of scalloped BB.
Using silver versacolor I stamped a snowflake randomly onto some plain white card and this sits beneath the Snowmen at a jaunty angle!!!
To finish the card I popped the image up on more foam tape and punched three snowflakes from some glittered paper using a small Carl punch and they too were attached using foam tape.

This little card will be entered into the cupcake craft challenge which is a sketch week 63, thanks ladies I loved working with your your sketch.

It also fits the bill for The Pixie Cottage challenge this week which is 'Celebrate'.

I'm also entering it in the Flourishes Timeless Tuesday Challenge (FTTC29) which is to use border punches. I hope my card is OK for this challenge my border is quite plain! An Australian card maker is hosting this challenge Kathy check out her beautiful card here.

Well that's it, hope you like this one and I hope you all have a great weekend. Thanks for dropping by and I hope to see you back on Tuesday. Till then.............
