Time for a change......

Hello,
It's blowing a howling gale here today ....I thought September was supposed to be the windy month in Sydney!

I like the sentiment on this card don't you, it's from a GKD set.

It's Spring and time to make some changes so this card seems appropriate. It's a very simple card with one layer of the reverse side of some dp. I embossed the top section using my Cuttlebug and the Swiss dots folder. Layered the black and white ribbon across the embossed edge and stamped the sentiment across the bottom.
The butterfly was stamped in Memento tuxedo black onto white card and coloured with Copics in shades of green and lemon. I've cut the butterfly out and added the pale green gems and some gold wire to finish. This was attached to the card with a foam tab to pop it up and I've curled the wings very slightly. Hope you like this one.

I'm waiting for delivery of my Christmas stamps from GKD, they should be here by the end of the week. I've been buying a few digital stamps of late and I'm also looking at some other companies for a bit of a change. If you have some favourites or stamps you think I should check out please let me know, It's time to add some variety I think.

Edit: You might want to make a note to check out the new Victoria Case for SCACD stamp release OCTOBER 16. It's the new release of the "Hearts and Hugs Series 3" Winter Collection. Click here to go check this out........ there's the added incentive of Candy!!!!

Till next time.........

Sue, This is beautiful! I agree that the butterfly is amazing and so life like.
I think I need to broaden my stamp supplies too. I am hung up on Gina's and my Magnolia's. I will be checking back to see what suggestions you get.

YOu have created such a refreshing card. That green is like a cool breath of fresh air! As far as companies..... I have wandered off into so many directions, I would not know what to suggest. I have tried a few clear sets lately. Since I learned the trick of rubbing them down with a good white eraser first, I have had better luck with them. For clear, I would try Flourishes. They have an amazing assortment!
