Two Cards ...Two Challenges!

Good Morning Fellow Bloggers!

What a mad day I had yesterday, decided to change the blog template AGAIN, and because I don't read directions carefully..... lost most of my gadgets. So I spent ages trying to piece it back together again, still a few things outstanding but I'll add gradually and guess what.... I won't be changing again in a hurry!

Today I'm posting two cards, the first uses a gorgeous digital image from Nina of TMITA called Autumn Splendor. It's not too late to join in, go grab the image and play along.

The base card is SU Sahara Sand.
I sized and printed this image twice. Coloured one completely with Copic markers and then using a Nestibilities die cut it out. On the second one I coloured the bird and the sunflower only, then cut them out and using foam tape placed them over the main image.
I printed the sentiment from A Year of Leaves by Melanie Muenchinger for GKD, onto some Apple Green card using SU pumpkin pie and with a small punch shaped the corners. I've stamped leaves onto more green card with VersaMark and embossed a piece of pumpkin card with a cuttlebug pumpkin embossing folder. Added the ribbon then the image, which was attached with more foam tape and the sentiment ticket to finish off. Hope you like this one.

The second card is for the Challenge over at Copics Buzz. This weeks challenge is sponsored by ILdi Co. and they too have a free image. I chose to use an ILdi Co. image that I had and I've called him the Picnic Bear (I Know not very imaginative ah!!).

Once he was sized and printed I used an oval Nestibilities die to cut him out and coloured him with Copic's, of course!
The base card is plain white with a layer of lemon followed by the dp which is from DCWV Nana's Nursery. Added the lemon satin ribbon and the corner embellishment, which is one of the embellishments I received as part of my Copic's prize. How pretty is it? and it was so easy to use, peel it off the backing sheet and stick it on! Love those easy bits and bobs specially when they look good!
Oops back to the card..... where did I get to, oh yes, cut another oval shape in lemon as a mat for the image which was then attached to the card with foam tape.
Two very different cards today, hope you like them and thanks for dropping by.

Till next time......
