Patrick Police Car!!

Hi all,
say hello to Patrick Police Car - this is the latest in the digital images from Christina at Sunshine's Paper Obsessions. Another image perfect for boys cards don't you think! If you would like this image for one of the boys in your life call over to Christina's blog here and she will send you a copy.
This time I printed the image onto card heat set then coloured using Copics.
The dp is from Basic Grey (I think it's called glee) a double sided paper and I've used both sides.
The badge was cut using my Pazzles Inspiration and embossed in gold with the sentiment computer generated and cut with a small scalloped Spellbinder. I added the star to finish off.

I've been playing around with layouts over the last couple of days - no cards made just a few different layouts. I need to get a couple of cards for the challenges over at Stamp TV - Sue has posted a red, white and black challenge so think I might start with that. Then Jessica has a great sketch challenge so that will be next - You might just see these in a day or so!!!! Oh and I'm working on a Wedding card - I've never made one of these before so lots to do, better get on with it.
Till next time............

Lifting me!

Hi all,
sorry I missed yesterday and this is very late! Bit of a hectic week-end and today was a catch up at home. More domestic bliss!!
I hope you all had a good week-end. Did any of you go check out Gina K's Lucky 7 stamp sale? It's still on so there's time! Click on the Gina K link on the side bar.

This is a card made with one of the Gina K Eclectic Summer stamps.
Very simple just used double sided paper and turned the corner back.
The sentiment is stamped and some ribbon tied through 3 punched holes. I've used foam tape to attach this to the card.
The ink is Versa Color Burgundy.
Paper is Artarama - Wine (Australian paper!) dp is Kaisercraft - On the dot. Bazzil - grey.
Hope you can drop by tomorrow.
Until them...........

Nina's Pinwheels.

Good Morning,
So you made it to the week-end, well done now you can take some time out to enjoy the things you really enjoy doing (well after you've caught up with the washing, ironing and cleaning that is!!!). It's been a good week overall here with a few projects completed, not as much as would have liked but still not too bad.
Today's card is a another one made from Nina's stamp set 'bug me anytime'. I seem to be breaking this set up a bit, need to sit down and stamp it properly to show you how it really looks - maybe over the week-end.

I've used just one of the flower images and stamped it 5 times onto white card stock with Versafine Vintage Sepia Ink . I coloured the images with Copics and cut them out. That's the hard bit done!!!
My normal size white card was folded to make a long slim card.
I've used some striking blue craft card as the 1st layer and embossed this with Swiss Dots.
The dp from American Crafts called Bookshelf is used at the bottom of the card.
The 5 pinwheels were spaced across the top than a piece of ribbon was added with a ring and tag cut with a Spellbinders die and coloured with Copics. - Phew that was quite a sentence!!!
OK off to try and organise my sketch challenge for Stamp TV !! Not too sure how I'm going to draw this up at the moment any ideas??
Till next time......

Mirror, Mirror

Hello all,
Not a card today - this is a project made for a 3d challenge on stamp TV hosted by Donna.
I've used flower punches, brads, pearls and ribbon here and if you look you will see I've also used a couple of Nina's bugs, stamped onto the covered mirror frame. It will probably find its way to a very girlie girl's bedroom!!!
The idea came from a class my friend Kerrie and I attended to make a Christmas decoration. We used paper, prisma flowers, charms and ribbons in that project and decorated the word NOEL, I'm sure you will have seen these around. We were so pleased with ours and each year mine is carefully unwrapped and stood on the hall table.
Thats it till next time.......

Lenny The Loader....

Hello everyone,
special hello to my new follower Uta. Well let me introduce you to Lenny the Loader - cute or what!! Sorry about the picture the sun came out between the rain showers and it was just a bit bright.
Lenny is the second in a series of Digital Images coming to us from Christina Bower aka Sunshines paper obsession - go check out her blog here. Stay watching cos there's more of these to come!!!

So Lenny was made up this time into a 'spring card' this design came to me via Kerrie I think its from SCS. It's quite simple to make up from a piece of double sided card. I just mounted my coloured image onto some red card before attaching it to the front panel. The circles were cut using small circle dies from Spellbinders and attached with a brad. This little card lies flat into a 5 inch envelope and springs up when opened.

Nina's Mojo 94

Oops nearly forgot to post this little card today. This is my card for Mojo Monday, and I've called it Nina's Mojo because the little stamps I've used are from Nina Bracket's 'Bug me Anytime' stamp set. Nina designed these stamps for Gina K and they are really gorgeous you will be seeing plenty more cards using this set I promise. Check out Nina's blog here.
  • Stamps: GKD bug me anytime.
  • Paper: White and pale lemon craft card, DP is from DCWV Nana's Nursery premium stack
  • Ink: Versicle old rose
  • Embellishments: KAISERscrapbook rhinestones and gross grain ribbon.
The pale lemon card was embossed using Swiss dots and layered with a narrow strip of pink/green dp. I used my SU spiral binding punch on one end of this strip.
The ribbon followed by the green check was added. Then I stamped the pinwheel flowers over a scrap of white card which was then mounted to some more of the pale lemon and added to the card. I used two Spellbinders circle dies to cut the last element which had been stamped with another of the flower images from Nina's set. This was attached to the card with foam tape.
To finish the card I added the rhinestones to the centre of all the flowers.

Tomorrow I will be posting the second in Christina Bowers digital images it's another one for the boys so definitely worth a look!!!!
Till then...............
Edit: Sorry this is not a good picture the sun came out whilst I was taking shots of a couple of my cards and in my haste to post them I haven't played with photoshop!!!!
