I've been checking out blogs from the UK. The girls over there seem to add so many elements to their cards - lots of flowers, gems, rub ons etc. They also seem to use bright DP, so I thought I would try. This is the card I came up with, still staying with the A5 card. My DP is Basic Grey -Romani and I used one of the flower stamps from Hampton Arts Clear Stamps. Stamped onto cream card stock. I've tied a button onto the flower which is double mounted using a foam dot. My 2 orange flowers I've coloured with Copics and added the pearl centre. I also twisted some florist wire around a paint brush handle to give me the spiral between the flowers! A lady bug stick on and ribbon to attach the sentiment!
Not too sure about this style - I think it might work better on a larger card size where you can go really over the top with embellishments, but it was fun.........

What a bright and sunny card. I'm like you, I think those British cardmakers make frame-worthy cards. But, I myself can't get used to having so much embellies and layers on my card. With 3 little girls, I don't have the time to do them :-).

Hi Sue, Thanks for your lovely comments on my blog. Where abouts in the UK were you from?

I love your cards and have looked back at older posts - very sophisticated cards, I like that. Jo
