Heartfelt Creations

Hi Blogger's,

I've been trying to catch up on some cards so am running a little late with this post, so sorry.......but there are some awesome things happening very soon so make sure to keep in touch!!

Today I'm sharing a project from Heartfelt Creations you can see all this week's DT cards over at the Blog or if you'd like to visit with the girls that make up this amazing DT you'll find the links under the DT tab at the top of my page.

OK so one today and the second tomorrow........ These roses are such fun to make and with this one I hope you can see the pretty glimmer I added to the petals with glimmer mist.  I also made up an embossing folder to use one of the leaf shapes to create an embossed background......I so have to make more of these!

OK here are the details:

4.25 x 5.5 Top fold card.

HC Products:  HCPC 3405 Leaf Medley PreCut Set
HCPC 3406 Botanical Floral 1 PreCut Set
HCPC 3407 Botanical Floral 2 PreCut Set
HCPC 3388 Spring Cardinals PreCut Set (Sentiment)
HCD 713 Decorative lace border die
                        Spellbinder Shapeabilities Foliage die
                        Spellbinders Rose Creations die

Other:           Cason cream card, Romanprint Ivory. American Crafts green card, Webster’s Pages dsp. scraps of Pink Paislee dsp for the rose.
Inks: Memento tuxedo black and bamboo leaves. s.e.i. coral chalk ink.
AnnaBelle peach Sprinkles, Tattered Angels glimmer mist – iridescent gold. Cream rayon ribbon.  Fiskars something old something new corner punch. Zip Dry glue, dries clear adhesive and foam mounting tape. ScoPal, Spellbinders Labels 14 dieGrand Calibur.

Instructions:
I’ve used a small leaf from the Foliage set to create an embossing pattern for my peach dsp. Here’s how: Cut some standard card the size to suit your cutting machine, mine is 5.5 x 6 inches to use in the Grand Calibur. Then from some thicker card, (I used my Cason base card) die cut enough shapes to cover your base card (22 for my size). Arrange and glue the shapes in position with zip dry glue.

1.     Cut green card to 4-1/8 x 5-3/8 inches.
2.     Run the peach dsp through the Grand Calibur using the leaf embossing sheet to emboss. Trim to 4 x 5-2/8 inches. Punch the top corner and adhere to green card. Add a peach Sprinkle to each corner.
3.     From Ivory card die cut the lace using HCD 713. Trim to desired shape and size to fit the front of the card. Thread cream ribbon tying to the right with a bow. Adhere lace to card front.
4.     Stamp 5 layers of petals from the Botanical Floral stamps in coral chalk ink.  Stamp one leaf set to green card using bamboo leaves ink. Die cut all using the matching dies.
5.     Adhere the leaves to card front. Sponge, shape and layer the petals to make 1 bloom adding the peach Sprinkle to the centre. Spray the finished bloom with glimmer mist. Once this is dry add to the card front.
6.     Stamp sentiment to Ivory card. Die cut using the Labels 14 die. Using foam mounting tape add this to the card front.

I'm Adding this card to the challenge over at     Make It Monday #47

Thanks for taking the time to stop by, I hope you'll call back tomorrow.......
