Boo!

Hello,

I'm amazed at the amount of Halloween stuff in the shops this year..........Seems we need to get on board for this celebration!  Very few people ventured down our drive in the old house but this one might be a bit different so I thought I should get prepared......Fanfare please............

OK, ok just a small basket of treats.........but..... we might be eating these LOL......

I made a card too (I'm getting a little collection of Halloween cards.......note to self  SEND SOME!!!)

I used this week's CAS(E) this sketch  for the design with an image from Bev at Uniko Studio.

Coloured the image with Prisma pencils.

Embossed some coloured card with a Cuttlebug Pumpkin Harvest e.f. 

I used Die-namics By The Letters dies to cut the sentiment.

That's it, better get this posted to meet the deadline.

HE HE it's just 7.50pm and the last of my treat bags have been snaffled by a large group of fairies :)

Heartstrings - Scrapbook Boutique

I'm sharing a little card made with products from Scrapbook Boutique today.

 This one uses an image from Some Odd Girl and she's cute as can be.  You can find the instructions for this card over at the Scrapbook Boutique Blog today.  I 've added the link below for all the products used.......if you're interested just click on the links :).

The pretty dp is from MME The Sweetest Thing - Lavender  and this sheet had a lovely vintage look, I think.  I coloured the image with Prisma pencils  and used Spellbinder dies to create a frame for the sentiment.

It's sketch time at AnnaBelle Stamps this week, we hope you can play along for a chance to win a gift voucher for the store.

We're featuring the new Cuts By Design #4 Borders 1. 

Starting with a 4.75" card cut from ABS smooth white card.

 I've die cut from gold card and you'll notice the lovely embossed detail this die gives you.

The background red/white polka dot is a digital design coming to the shop soon, keep watching for this and more!!!

The bauble from Decorated Christmas was stamped and cut using the matching die six times to give a nice full bauble for the front of this card and folds down nice and flat for mailing :).

Some of AnnaBelle's gold cord to 'hang' the ornament in place.

The sentiment is from the same set and cut using the matching die.

I've added two chilli hearts to finish off.

Butterfly Bloomers for Fluttering Bums!!

I've been having fun with challenges over on SCS, they certainly help when you're feeling a bit stale!!!
Well that sounds a bit harsh.....I mean when your MOJO goes MIA :)

The Sunday Inspiration Challenge (#359) called for a visit to the cutest store for littlies: 

The Corner Stork We were asked to take inspiration from all the cute goodies the store had in stock and I couldn't go past these adorable little 'butterfly bloomers for fluttering bums' their words :).

Here's my card.........what do you think?

This beautiful die from Memory box called Chloe Butterfly was a gift from Selma, an incredible card maker and a blogging friend of mine.  

The sentiment stamp was an impulsive buy months ago from a stationary store, so no idea of maker but isn't the font lovely?

I'm joining a new crafting group the day this card posts to my blog and hoping there might be a few card makers in the mix............wish me luck!

The latest sketch from Retro sketches worked perfectly for a little card I needed in a hurry!

I've kept it very CAS too, so this card was popped into a new neighbours post box this morning :)

The sweet image is from Kathy Martin, coloured with Copic markers.  I added a  computer generated sentiment, can't quite believe I don't have a stamp to cover this :)

After a warm few days it's cooled down here today, in fact it's blowing a gale and looks like rain which we need! Hope it's nice where you are.

Looks like a 30+ day here today so I think the 'BOSS' and I will head to the beach.......either that or air conditioned shops lol!

I've a CAS card to share today, made for Splitcoast Stampers CAS #192 challenge - Harvest.

 I used the new sketch from CAS(E) This Sketch #2 for the design.

 The stamps are from Uniko Studio Stamps - Gerbera, with a sentiment from Extra Time.

Stamped in Memento Rich Cocoa to watercolour card and coloured with Inktense pencils.

This week I thought I'd try a slider card........my first ever....what fun! 

I used an image and sentiment from Party Animals # 1.

AnnaBelle's Pumpkin Sprinkles, orange twine and button.

I also cut the new Border CDB004 Borders 1

I also used Cuts By Design 002 Shapes 1

(well, just the top edge to sit my button on:))

Coloured with Prisma's and Zest-it Blending Solution.
