Friday Feature 025 - Pink Christmas

A Christmas Challenge

Hello,

I'm very quickly adding a couple of cards before a storm hits here.......Thunder has been rubbling around for a while and its as black as.... outside.

Let it Snow:
One CAS card using stamped snowflakes and a Swiss Dots Embossing Folder, with a few baby blue gems to complete.

Warm Winter Wishes:
Whilst the Pazzles cutting machine was connected to my computer the other day, I cut  a few shapes from my large library of designs.  This snow dome seemed just the thing for Uniko Studio's new 'Stunning Snowflakes'.  I stamped with Versatile Adhesive and added some clear glitter.  The DP is from  Kaisercraft  and called 'Just Believe".

I thought I'd add these cards to Challenge # 5 Christmas or Winter Holiday Theme at Uniko Studio Stamps.

I couldn't resist using one of ABS stars to top this image 

(though I don't think they're available anymore :( )

I've also used liquid pearls to add tiny dots for embellishments.

Gifted Swirls

Glittery Snowflakes for a Challenge.........

Hello,

Every year I add some new Christmas stamps to my collection and I usually pick snowmen and snowflakes.  Not sure why, I've lived in Australia well over 20 years now and Christmas is the height of our Summer.......no snow here that time of year!

This year I couldn't resist Uniko Studio Stamps Stunning Snowflakes......oh and the Snowflakes designer dies that are just fabulous!
I finally got some time to play with them this week and made a little winter gift set with a card and treat box.

I had a terrible time trying to photograph the card in this set. It has a clear front stamped with just the sentiment and a die cut snowflake attached below some icicles.  The stamped flakes are on the pale blue card base. 

I do love this little folded treat bag, cut and fold, no tape or glue......perfect!  Die cut snowflakes from glittered card and I made the sentiment tag using vellum and attached it with some seam binding.

 See what I mean about the card..........sorry but I hope you get the idea :)

Round For Christmas - Friday Feature

We're Featuring another of AnnaBelle's smaller Christmas sets for Friday Feature this week.

I've paper pieced a festive border  before popping up my distressed, stamped layer.

Icicle Sprinkles, a button and ABS red/white twine complete this card.

I've taken inspiration from the red/white polka dots and Santa's hat for my card today:

• Stamping the image from Flourishes Dear Santa and colouring with Copic markers.
• Layering a white base card with polka dot paper from Authentique.
• Die cutting the centre circle.
• Using foam adhesive to pop the images behind the die cut circle.
• The Sentiment stamped to white card adding a twine bow and popping up to card front.
• Die cutting holly leaves from green card using the Cheery Lyn Designs die.
• Add two leaves to the sentiment layer finishing off with two MME enamel dots in red for the berries.
• Two more Holly Leaves with berries added above the circle to complete the card front.
