Plum, Blue and Raspberry at AnnaBelle Stamps

Andrea has another challenging colour theme for us this week........well it was a challenge for me anyway!  

When in doubt I usually head for the design paper stash......so glad I didn't!  

I chose instead to reach for my  Ranger Distress Markers, scribbling onto a clear stamp block, spritzing with water and painting over some watercolour card.

Loving the background for ABS Garden Silhouettes stamped in tuxedo black.

Fabulous black twine and three tiny licorice Sprinkles for the bling.

All popped up over an embossed black base card.

Tumbled Glass, Victorian Velvet and Aged Mahogany where the colours I used......closest to the plum, blue and raspberry :)

A Right Royal Celebration.....

.......over at the Less Is More Challenge Blog this week.  With celebrations all over  the country for  the Queens Diamond Jubilee the girls asked for a Red White and Blue CAS card.  

Here's mine, I chose a butterfly......a graceful creature which is fitting I think....

 Again, using the positive and negative die cutting technique.

I've added some diamond stickles to the red butterfly. (not sure my photo shows them!)

I thought the Queen wore a beautiful outfit on the Thames with sparkling crystals...didn't you?

I couldn't resist these  little images from Prima Marketing called Yuki - Pretty Cute, which I thought would be perfect for a little gift set.

Just a little bit of red adds so much to these..... so super quick to whip up a gift set..........Takes much longer to write up the details...I promise you :)

Another pretty little flower die from Memory Box to add some bling.

A Little Bird for a wet Sunday

It's a grey and rainy Sunday here, so a perfect day to sit and play without feeling guilty.

I made a CAS card 'just for fun' ......... it felt GOOD!

I used the colour challenge from CR84FN #55......pretty colours to brighten a dull day:)

Combined with this lovely sketch from Retro Sketches #14. I've been stalking this challenge blog and finally get to play.....

This week's challenge at AnnaBelle Stamps is to pierce some paper...........so play along with us if you'd like to be in the running for a shopping trip to the AnnaBelle Stamps on-line store.

For my card this week I scored and added some piercing between the score lines.  A simple brown/white colour scheme for this one.
