AnnaBelle October Blog Hop - Round For Christmas

Hello and welcome to the AnnaBelle Stamps October Blog Hop.

The Belles will be sharing some early Christmas ideas using ABS Round For Christmas, a sweet little set of ornament stamps with Christmas sentiments.

The Blog Hop starts and finishes at the AnnaBelle Stamps Blog. If you arrived here from Andrea's Blog you're on the right track! When you leave me you hop over to Kylie's blog.  Leave a message on each of the blogs before Sunday 12pm and you could win this lovely little Christmas set.

Andrea is also offering this set as the "Deal of The Week"with a 20% discount. This deal will run from 4pm today for one week until our next challenge on Friday.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
For my project I ran up a very quick little jiffy bag in muslin on my sewing machine. I've used three of the images to add some Christmas colour.
 Stamped to the fabric and just heat set using the iron and two sheets of white paper :).
ABS green/white ribbon to pull the bag closed.
The tag is made up of a large die cut ornament (CBD 003) which I embossed using a Swiss dots EF. One more of the small ornament stamps, which fit the small die and a sentiment strip from ABS Decorated Christmas. Some red/white twine attach this to the bag.
I think I'll make these for my Christmas table.  Add some festive treats and loop to each chair!
Thanks for dropping by, enjoy the hop...................
Birthday Wishes in Olive, Mustard and Peach
Hi Bloggers,
First things first.......we're having a blog hop that starts at 4pm AEST today and as always  there will be a prize for someone, so call back and Hop along with us.
Here's this weeks colour challenge over at AnnaBelle Stamps........will you be playing along?
I'd say this was perfect for all you ladies enjoying Fall and Autumn, while here we're into Spring and enjoying trees in blossom and some sunshine.  Well it's called a CHALLENGE for a reason, right?
Andrea asked us to use Tomorrow's Dream for our projects this week.......she's such a joy to colour so no hardship there!
I started by following on from last week's challenge, using a background stamp.  Backgrounds by Design #7, with  the little wrapped presents from Backgrounds by Design Numbers.
The image was coloured with Prisma's and Zest-it blending solution.  Peach Sprinkles for the necessary bling this week.  The sentiment stamped to mustard card is also from BBD Numbers.
Check in with the Belles for lots of inspiration again this week and come join us.......One lucky person will win a shopping voucher for the AnnaBelle Stamps store.
Hope you'll call back at 4pm today I have a sweet little project to share.........Til then.....
Time For You - CAS-ual Friday
Hello,
October is Breast Cancer Awareness month as I'm sure you'll know...........there are lots of challenges with this as the theme.  So many of us would know at least one person who is struggling with the effects and treatment of this cancer, mostly women  but men too!
I have a friend who was clear for years only to have the cancer return last year.  This card is for her and also my entry for the CAS-ual Friday Challenge  #73 this week.
I've used a sentiment from Waltzingmouse Stamps, Afternoon Tea Sentiments and the banners are from their Bitty Banners.
The ribbon is from SU with a punched flower and stick pin for the trim.
Thanks for taking the time to call by today........back tomorrow with AnnaBelle Stamps. Hope you'll call past for some more challenge fun and a Blog Hop!
   Make a project using the following picture as your inspiration.
You could be the winner of a $30 gift voucher for Scrapbook Boutique.
(Link your project on the SB Blog before 31/10/12)
How delish are these cupcakes.......almost too good to eat, almost!!!
OK so chocolate and soft pinks, flowers and pearls are what came to mind for me.
I recently received a box of new goodies, including new dies and some scrumptious new DP from Prima that just begged to be used.
Chocolate base card with a layer of soft pink followed by dp from the Tea - Thyme collection 6 x 6 paper pad, Prima.
Next came the Catalina Wreath from Memory Box die cut from more of the soft pink card.
I used a selection of pinks from MME Lost & Found - Market Street and The Sweetest Thing - Lavender to die cut the following flowers to add to the wreath.
Memory Box Small Pinwheel Posie.
Memory Box Petal Party.
Die-namics Prima Donna Petals.
C.C. Designs Phlox Flowers.
To finish the centres I added some chocolate, Flourish With A Bling Pearls.
Thanks for calling past, hope you can join in again this month........Now on with the Hop..................Therese.
Hello Bloggers........Are you ready for this weeks challenge at AnnaBelle's?
Andrea asked us to use any of the Background By Design sets for our cards today.....and honestly I did start with one.  In fact I started with BBD #7 one of my favourites......it reminds me of the  notebooks we used to be given for Maths at school :)
I stamped it in Versa Color Sand Beige to AnnaBelle's smooth white card it just takes away the starkness of the white perfectly.
I've used layers of ABS digital papers, the daisies and ginghams in Espresso, chocolate and green.
Swiss dots embossed repeatedly over one strip of the paper to add a little dimension. Trimmed and layered some banners for the sentiment, which is from Squared Posies. Added a Prima flower with some of AnnaBelle's green/white ribbon and a stick pin with a punched butterfly. Then to complete the card three lime Sprinkles.
Pop over to see how the girls worked with AnnaBelle's Backgrounds By Design sets......you'll love them all!
