Hello Bloggers......... we've just enjoyed a wonderful winter week end here, with bright sunny days. Even warm enough for short sleeves, if you kept out of the breeze, at least. The boss and I went for a drive and watched a pod of whales playing in the ocean just off the mid north coast. They're on their way north for the warmer waters and always attract crowds when they get close to the shore.
Yesterday was the last Sunday of the month which is 'The Roses' challenge day..............Once again I'm late!!! The months fly past so quickly .........what happened to June?? Halfway through the year again.......unbelievable!
The lovely Patti my AnnaBelle Stamps DT 'sister' got to pick the challenge this month and asked us to make a 'summer' card! Hello.......middle of winter here girls.... Even though we've had a good week end we still have short days that start and end COOL!
Not moaning really......honest! Here's a card from me using a S U stamp that Patti uses every now and then too......

Other waffle.......
Last week I joined a Memory Chain (Blog Hop) for a lovely lady who died suddenly. All very sad as she was a sweet soul and way too young to be taken. Can I tell you that over the period that the Hop was due to run (I left my post for a few days) I had more blog visits than I can ever remember since starting this blog! I'd like to think some of those who visited would call past again, every now and then (:)) but more important than that, it made me think how this lovely lady touched so many people with her cards and blogging about them. We're part of an amazing community don't you think?
