LIM #71 and Uniko Studio Stamps

Here's a card for the L I M one layer challenge 'Use a Flourish'.  Perfect, I have some new stamps from Uniko Studio that have been waiting for some ink. I've used two of the flourishes, flipping them to create a frame for the single word sentiment.  I love the crisp red and white colour theme for this simple card and the embossed border to carry the ribbon adds dimension.....I think :)

My first attempt used two colours, pink and brown with a border stamped across the bottom. also in pink.  Didn't like the look so added the pink punched lace edge with the wrapped brown ribbon.  Like this much more now, even though it's  not eligible for the one layer challenge.

Thanks for popping past today, I'm back tomorrow with AnnaBelle Stamps New Release.  Hope you have time to call back.

I love the flourish you used. Gives a beautiful image. I think I like the red card best, but I am not sure.

Lovely cards Sue, I just love how you have used the flourishes to create a 'frame' for the sentiment! Will be having a go at casing these! Hugs Bev xx
