Hello, hello

Hello... it's me,
I'm singing ADELE can you hear me?

So much has been going on out there. I've tried to keep up but excuse me if I'm not on the ball.
What's changed in the blogging world? Is there anything I should be doing differently?
HELP!

I needed a card so at long last decided to sit and have some paper craft fun.  It's been too long!

Wishing from Purple Onion was my chosen image. Nothing is more relaxing than colouring with Prisma pencils.  So here we go...........

I like to pick out colours to match any design paper I'm using on a card.

Once the image is complete I add some embellishment.  Pearls on the sentiment and some liquid pearls to pick out the seed heads and add some dimension.

Here we are ready for the mail box.  Quite Happy with the finished card.....sorry about the lighting.

I'd like to add this card to the Simon Says Anything Goes Challenge this week :)

Where we're at:

We've been in our new home about 6 weeks now and they've been 6 very busy weeks.  We had around 200 boxes to unpack and guess what..... a large percentage of those boxes contained my craft goodies.  Sewing as well as paper craft so I think you can guess what it was like to sort through and find homes for everything.  Still working on the last few boxes but waiting for some additional cupboards to arrive.

My new craft room is in fact the 4th bedroom upstairs. I have somehow managed to get most things stored in a double wardrobe!  Considering I had the granny flat in the last house with plenty of bookshelves/cupboards etc. (that all stayed behind....boohoo) I think I've done quite well.  Lots of things have had to go but, it feels good to de-clutter!

Thought I'd share a couple of photos of my new space. Still getting used to it and the lighting in here for photos etc.  Notice no computer on the desk?  Sad to say my big screen Mac didn't like being turned off and stored for a year.   It crashed after a week on being switched back on!
I'm thinking I might just carry on with my laptop and  a bigger monitor attached.  One less item to keep updated......right?

Anyway, good to chat......If you call past leave me a message so I know you're still out there  :-)

Welcome back lovely to see a card made by you which is gorgeous. So pleased you are getting settled in your new home. Sorting is such a drag when you just want to get crafting. I know what you mean finding a space for things. We moved from a 5 bedroomed into a small 3 bed bungalow. I had to have a shed in the garden to store fabric and card etc. Take care x

Hello :) Thanks for visiting earlier.
I haven't had to down size yet - my last move went the other way! As a condition of our reno about 6 years ago I had to have a craft room. In hindsight it should have been twice as big! I wasn't paper crafting or quilting back then.
Anyway it looks like a lovely space. I am very interested in what you have going on on your desk - hope you share.
Your card is gorgeous. So glad to see you back blogging hope to see you again soon :)

First... I love the card! Next.... congrats on the new house and that 4th bedroom. Jim and I are starting to look at places to retire and I told him there must be one bedroom for crafts, since you have the whole garage for the fishing boat! Lastly......Very good to see you, and to know you have been off enjoying this big old world!
