AnnaBelle Stamps - ABSC021

Morning Blogger's

It's time for this weeks AnnaBelle Stamps challenge. This is the fortnightly sketch, brought to us by Jerusha, with a prize for the randomly picked winner. The lucky winner of ABSC021 will receive the 'Floral Stem's stamp set, so get your entries in. You can use any stamp, though naturally if you had an Annabelle Stamps one....... we would love you to use it.

Here's the sketch:
Here's the prize:

I decided to go with something a little different for me and used the sketch for a scrapbook page.

My base card picks out the blue from the picture and I used plain black to mat my photo.
SU Melon Mambo is next with a strip of SU patterned paper in blue and white. The vertical strip of SU Kraft has been stamped with a swirl stamp from ABS 'Swirl Tree' in VersaMagic cloud white chalk ink. The sentiment comes from the same set stamped onto more of the blue card and then cut using a Spellbinder Label 4 die. I added three small gems from the Pink Petals pack to the sentiment label and Six 6mm Blossom Sprinkles complete the sketch.

So if scrapbooking is your thing..... join in with a page of your own ..... don't forget you have two weeks to submit your entry.

If you've come here from Andrea's blog you will know that she is attending the Copics Certification in Melbourne so our last challenge winner will be announced as soon as she returns home. Hope you'll take the time to go and check the rest of the design teams projects for this week.......The links are in the side bar.

I had a great day at the Sydney Copics Certification class yesterday and will have some photos and chat to share tomorrow. Thanks for dropping past today and I hope you'll call back for tomorrows post.

Till then................

Purse packs.....

Hi Blogger's,

Happy Thursday!!!! well I'm happy, can you tell? As this post goes out I'm attending the first Sydney Copics Certification class!!!!!!! I had my bag all sorted last night with my little camera tucked in to try and get some pics! I'll let you know how it all went.....promise.

I heard a few of my blogging friends would be attending the class too, so thought I might take along a little purse treat for each of them.

I've used stamps from Annabelle Stamps, various sets, I love them all, such wonderful little stamps in them, suitable for all kinds of occasions and very reasonably priced at under Aus$20 a set. I've decorated with flowers from the petal kits and also used some of the blossoms and gems.....oh and not forgetting the ribbon! All from Annabelle Stamps......go take a look.

OK it's off to bed for me.....

Till next time.........

The image was cut with a Spellbinder Labels Four die and sits on foam dots.

Hope you like this little summer inspired card, thanks for dropping by an if you have a chance go check the other dt members card. Take a look around the Paper Cupcakes shop ...... it's all non fattening!!!

We are happy that Pat is back on the dt for a couple of months........welcome back Pat we're looking forward to seeing more of your beautiful cards.

That's it for today I'm off to do the boring stuff......housework!!! Thanks for dropping by, see you next time.

Here and here are the links.

Hope you're all enjoying your week end!
I've been having fun trying to decide on how many cupboards to have in my re organised craft room!!! Oh the pressure....I have one chance to get this right lol!

Here is my card for Kerrie's challenge to 'The Roses', (Connie, Olga, Betty, Kim, Kez and me).
She asked us to make this fancy fold card. The first time I saw this card it was made by Donna from Butternut Sage Designs, though more recently it was featured on SCS.

I used a digital image from Whimsie Doodles Mini Valentines with some double sided dp.
Not sure you can see it too well in this photo but I also sponged some clouds around the image.
Copic Markers and a clear glitter pen coloured the image. I've added the pewter pearls before attaching the folded frame to my base card which is American Crafts chocolate brown.
The sentiment, which was part of the image was printed out separately onto white card for the banner and attached with some ribbon.

Hope this is OK Kez, a fun little card........our next challenge for May will be coming from Connie.......wonder what she hasin store for us!!

Till next time..............

Isabella's Sketchbook - Kioshi With Love.

Hello,

I think I'm back on track......... or perhaps I shouldn't have said that! Anyway, I made a card for Isabella's Challenge and this week her new design team was announced with some of their beautiful projects to inspire us. My understanding was that as long as one of Isabella's images were used the challenge is open.

Earlier in the week Isabella featured a tag on her blog, not sure it's the same but I had one too, so my decision was made!

This image reminded me of Asian styled flowers so I've teamed it with Basic Grey's Kioshi paper pad, picking a plain and this beautiful muted coloured dp. My tag was coloured in this same muted style using Prisma's and OMS, then cut out. I've sponged around the edge with antique linen distress ink and stamped the sentiment from Annabelle Stamps.

Some punched daisy fans, ribbon and retro flowers with gem centres and the card's complete. I hope you like it.

Tomorrow I have my card for the 'Roses' April challenge, if you've got time I'd love it if you called back.

Have a great week end.

Irish Blessings....

Helloooooo!

Second post today - If you're looking for AnnaBelle Stamps Say it with Pearls ......scroll down...thanks.

I've made a card for a special sketch challenge over at Claire Brennan's place Waltzingmouse Stamps. Claire is celebrating her first year of selling her own stamp sets and has a new release out May 1st. The sneak peeks have been amazing. So enough chat here's my card:

I've kept it quite simple using a digital set that Claire gave away for an earlier blog hop. I love the bunch of shamrocks and in order to use this image I've split the single shamrock from the sentiment in Photoshop and even changed the colours (I'm getting quite daring with the old Photoshop........I won't tell you how long it takes me though....lol).

I've done some sponging with Antique Linen distress inks and used my Copics to colour the bunch of shamrocks. The dp is from Basic Grey's Kioshi paper pad with the base card from American Craft Card. The red embellishments were from the candy I received from Cathy and the Green hearts I found on our whistle stop trip to Victoria!!!

Take a moment and go check out Claire's blog, join the challenge but you'll need to be quick it ends Midday 1 May (local time.... Ireland).

Tomorrow I have a card for Isabella's challenge , hope you'll have time to drop by.
Till then...........

AnnaBelle Stamps - Say it with....Pearls

Good Morning Blogger's,

This week on AnnaBelle Stamps we're challenging you to 'Say It With .... Pearls'. I hope you can join in with us, we love seeing your creations and although we'd love you to use one of the AnnaBelle Stamps sets, if you don't have them yet .... use what you have.

I've kept my card quite simple this week, it features a sentiment from 'Flowers For You'. I've teamed it with a couple of Spellbinder dies and some AnnaBelle Pearls. In fact three different sizes of the pearls, take a look at the corner pearls .....lush!!

I've stamped the sentiment in Memento Tuxedo Black ink onto Ivory card before cutting with a Labels 9 die. Whilst the card was still in the die I sponged with SU blush blossom. This sits over the Fleur De Lis pendant that I cut from some Fiskars Cloud Nine dp. The completed piece is set on point.

The base card is Ivory with a layer of American Craft Card from their Earth Tones pack.

I've used pearls under the sentiment as well as on each point of the Fleur De Lis with the largest pearls in each of the corners.

For the inside of my card I used some Lexel Papers Felt Cream letterhead. Stamped a small rose image from the same set in the top corner and coloured lightly with Copic markers. A Fiskars Apron Lace punch punched the bottom of this heavyweight paper and I added a strip of the same terracotta card as used on the front to sit beneath the scallops.

My Mum in the UK gets two Mother's Day celebrations. One for those of the family back there and one for my brother and I who celebrate the Australian Mother's Day, which is always a little later. This will be her card this year so better get it in the Post right away.

Hope you have time to join us this week, go check the AnnaBelle Design Teams cards for more inspiration.

Till next time..........
