Home again!!!

Hi we're home again after just four full days in glorious Melbourne. I tell Walshie he needs to work a little slower so I get a little more time down there!! I love jumping on trains and trams and exploring the city and I walk for miles around Williamstown, all around the bay. I love the older homes there, some of the more modern ones are worth a look too.
Ian takes one of the fitters with him from Sydney and this guy had been competing in The Masters Sporting event which was held in Sydney this year. He's a runner and did quite well so had lots to talk about on the journey down.
We stayed at a beautiful place called The Captain's Retreat in Williamstown. Ian and I stayed there last year, it's such a beautiful house and Melissa the owner is a delightful host.
We met two great Canadian girls who also competed in The Masters, they were Soccer players from Edmonton who after the games decided to see a bit of Australia. We also met a couple from the UK who were traveling for eight weeks around Australia and then over to New Zealand, so we were quite a lively crowd, which made it fun.

Now I thought I'd post this card that I made along with a couple of others using Mo's images.
This is another card made with the Kimono Girl, which is such a cute image and fun to colour.
This time I used a small piece of Japanese paper to make a fan as an embellishment and took my colours from this paper. I used a Spellbinder die to cut two ovals one the image and the second in the turquoise card that I embossed with a Cuttlebug folder. The navy dp is a scrap from a notebook I covered so not sure what the paper is. I cut a strip of gold card and layered it with turquoise rice paper then attached this to the side of the card. The fan was attached to this. The image was placed over the turquoise embossed card, off centre, to finish.
Quick simple card to make, I've left this free of a sentiment for now as I thought I could use this one for more or less any occasion.
Well that's it for me, I'm off to check some of the blog posts I've missed. I think Fabiona my last post might have won the Copics Buzz challenge............ if I'm the Sue they mentioned she did!!! I'll let you know.
Till next time.........
