Scrapbook Boutique September Blog Hop and Inspirational Challenge.

Hello Blogger's,

Today I'm joining the girls from Scrapbook Boutique for the September Blog Hop and Inspirational Challenge, hope you'll join us for both.

The Hop starts and ends at the Scrapbook Boutique Blog.  If you're following along you should have arrived from Narelle's blog and when you leave me you hop over to Therese's Blog.

The hop is open for one week, closing at midday Monday 17th September.
To be eligible to win the prize, leave a comment on each of the blogs, with the SB blog being the last one.  The random winner will be drawn from the  SB blog and announced on Tuesday18th.

Unfortunately the blog hop prize (and the inspiration challenge) are only open to anyone with an Australian mailing address.

This month's prize for one lucky person is Prima's La Femme Stamp set.

Why not play along with our regular monthly inspirational challenge.
Make a project using the following picture as your inspiration and remember

Add Buttons

This month Evelyn has this wonderful prize package from Flourish with a Bling for one lucky person.......So join in......it could be you!
(Link your project on the SB Blog before 30/9/12

For the challenge this month I'm sharing my new sketch book.  I loved the papers from Graphics 45
A Ladies Diary and thought they would make a great cover to personalize my sketch book.

I started with a layer of Core-dinations card, cut slightly smaller than the front of the book. I've trimmed several sheets of the dp to make up four strips adding some stamping to the top section and ribbon trim towards the bottom of the cover.

There are several sheets of dp made up of label size blocks in this pad and I've added one of these to the mid section.  Some Flourish With A Bling Antique Gold pearls seem the right enbellishment to add for this month's challege too :).

For the buttons I die cut a selection from Memory Box's Scalloped Buttons and threaded with twine before adhering to the bottom of the cover.

To attach the completed cover to the front of my sketch book I've used X-Press It Double Sided High Tack tape.

I'm looking forward to seeing all the different ways you work with this month challenge.....Good luck!
