AnnaBelle Stamps - Say It With Christmas Boxes

Hi Blogger's,

It's time for this week's AnnaBelle Stamps Challenge and we're challenging you to 'Say It With Christmas Boxes'.  Come and join us with your Christmas box creations..........we love to see them all.

For my box I've used another of the ABS pre-scored boxes.......too easy. These Kraft boxes are quick and simple to construct and best of all no glue or tape required to hold them together! Check them out in store now.

I've used DSP from Kaisercraft 6" paper pad 'Tis The Season.  A Spellbinder Classic Oval die for the sentiment and a Layered Poinsettia to finish  the top of my Christmas box.  Now how to fill this box.................

I hope you'll go check the Belles Christmas Boxes you can see them at the AnnaBelle Blog or better still  go visit with the girls.  Links are under the DT tab at the top of my page.

Thanks for your visit today, have a great week end......

Scrapbook Boutique - Poppy Poem Gift Set.

Hello,

I'm sharing another little gift set today a card with matching gift box.  Evelyn from Scrapbook Boutique is showing this project  along with all the details on the store blog.

I've used two stamps for this project, Designer Wood grain from Hero Arts, a great background stamp at 4.25" x 5.5" in size. I've stamped it in red  and love how striking it is.

The second stamp is also a red rubber on wood stamp. Poppy Poem from Penny Black......... I really like the design of this stamp and its fabulous to colour!

I've used Prisma's with OMS to colour the Poppy, though it would look brilliant water coloured...don't you think? Adding a handmade flower and some die cut scallop's the card came together really quickly.

I'm entering this little project in the Simon Says Challenge this week which is 'Anything Goes'.

AnnaBelle Stamps Blog Hop

The  Hop starts and ends at the AnnaBelle Stamps Blog. If you've followed the hop you should have arrived with me from Andrea's  blog!! When you leave me you're heading over to Kylie's  Blog.

We're sharing ideas for Christmas gift tags today.....I still need a few how about you?

I've taken inspiration from this years tags by Tim Holtz..........I love how he puts his together, though mine are not quite as intricate I had fun with them!
Four labels two of each design and I've used AnnaBelle's labels in white and Kraft (watch for them in the store).

The kraft set uses sentiments from several ABS sets listed below. The White set features snowflakes from ABS Gifted Swirls stamped in Ranger distress ink broken china. I embossed these with Swiss dots and added a punched snowflake dressed up with a button from the Lake collection from ABS and a Waterfall sprinkle.  From my stash I've added hand dyed seam binding, bells and stick pins.

These were fun to put together, quite simple but certainly worth making up multiples of each!

Join us if you can..........now over to Kylie's blog where I'm sure she'll inspire you.

Till next time............

Better late than never......The Roses November Challenge

Hello friends,

I've been very neglectful of my blog these past few weeks.  Everyone is busy sharing Christmas projects  and  I've made less this year than in past years.  Lots of other things going on at the moment with time in my craft room very limited.  I'll be posting as usual for AnnaBelle and Scrapbook Boutique but I hope you'll understand if I take some time out!

One of the things I'm doing at the moment is taking some lessons to learn how to use my Christmas present..........Walshie bought me a new Camera! We're taking lessons together which is quite fun. I'm hoping over the summer to have some photos and maybe a scrapbook page or two to share.

As the title of my post says .....I'm late......The Roses Challenge for November was issued by the lovely Mary Anne and we are supposed to post the last Sunday of the month!  Oh dear, sorry Mary Anne........
A birthday card was called for, so I've coloured my first La La Land Marci thanks to the lovely Sue K who sent me some to colour.  How sweet is she in her Capri pants?  The pretty dp is from Pinkpaislee and is called Vintage Vogue.

The girls who make up the Roses bouquet are listed under the tab at the top of my page and they would love you to visit with them if you could take a moment.

Thanks so much for dropping by today. I hope you're enjoying your week end. The weather has been all over the place again in Sydney but we've managed a bit more gardening. Oh and some photography homework.........Yes we get homework!!!

I'm back on Tuesday for AnnaBelle Stamps first blog hop for December and hope you'll have time to call past.............Till then

AnnaBelle Stamps Challenge...........

Things are starting to get busy here on the run up to Christmas which means little time for crafting but there's always time for an AnnaBelle Stamps challenge!

What a fun challenge Andrea has for us this week too, I'm looking forward to seeing your 'Christmas Handmade Gifts'.......hope you'll join in!

I have a couple of gift ideas to share today.

Starting with two little treat boxes to hang from the tree. Those who visit me often would know I love Birdhouses and these are just so sweet!  I'm adding some chocolate to mine so I have little gifts for people calling in over the Christmas break.

Both little boxes were cut from one sheet of A4 Kraft and a couple of 6" sheets of DSP for the shingles.  I used images from ABS Santa's Star cut out to decorate the snowflake stamped boxes. A small square of clear acetate will hold the goodies safe and sound inside!

I can't take credit for this sweet design  but I'm pleased to say they were made by a clever English paper crafter who very kindly shared.  Here's the link go take a look.

OK so what's wrapped inside the parcel?

First off the wrapping is beautiful tissue paper (coming soon) from ABS which I stamped with snowflakes.  Secured with ABS beautiful red/white twine adding a Kraft label to match.

Undo the wrapping and you'll find this fabulous ABS kraft box which comes cut and scored ready to fold. The best part is there is no glue required so it's super quick to assemble which is just what we need this time of year.  I've kept the decoration simple this time just adding a doily with a stamped circle popped up on foam tape.  More snowflakes and what the camera hasn't really picked up is the glimmer from  Mister Huey's Calico shine.......so pretty!

Inside the box.....Four Birthday cards using the fabulous 'Squared Posies' from ABS. The perfect set for creating quick CAS cards!

Sponging Ranger distress inks over opaque vanilla embossing..........my favourite way to use this set!
The image is off-set over some Prima Fairy Flora DP. I added some white dots to frame. Scored a 1inch border and stamped the Birthday sentiment from ABS 'Flowers With Love' adding 2 lime 6mm Sparkles to complete.

Hope this has given your a couple of ideas to make some quick gifts for your Christmas stash!  Go check in with the Belles who are sure to have more inspiration for you.

See you soon.........
