Christmas Wishes........

Hello and Merry Christmas to all my blogging friends,

On Monday I received a wonderful little set from Uniko Studio Stamps...........Label Love.....Christmas is a little set that I'm sure will get a real work out all year long!  I couldn't resist inking it up right away and made a couple of quick little cards for my neighbours :)

This first one uses a 'Free' digital stamp from Uniko as well as the sweet little label........I'm thinking this label could work for my 2013 calendar........better get busy with that!!!  The strip of DP is from Carta Bella - Winter Fun.

This second one uses the little Christmas tree above a hand cut stamped label.  I've added the scored lines to echo the lines in the label.  To finish three little stars from ABS.
OK so these are definitely the last Christmas cards for 2012!!!!!

This will be my last post until the New Year.
My little blog is having a rest, not me you understand.... I'll be trying to make a few things to have ready to share at the beginning of 2013!

It's been a busy year and I know I've fallen a bit behind with my comments and blog visits.
Sorry!  I will try and do better in the new year. Thanks for being so supportive and for all the lovely comments you've left  me during the year..............You SPAMMER's need not bother though.....why waste your time!  I just delete yours!

I hope you all spend time doing the things that make Christmas special in your house. If you travel over the holiday period, take it easy and stay safe.

MERRY CHRISTMAS
and a
VERY HAPPY NEW YEAR

Mince pie anyone?????

All in a row.........

I think this is the last Christmas card for 2012......I usually do a Christmas round up and post all the odds and ends that I've made and sent out in a rush.  This year I've made less cards than usual so I've spread them out :)

This card features papers from KaiserCraft December 25th which works well with the circle stamps from LOTV. The three little cuties are also from LOTV and called 'all in a row'. I coloured with my Copic markers  sponging a little with distress ink.

That's it today, thanks for calling past. I hope you have your Christmas prep. all sorted so you can enjoy  a day doing all the little things that make Christmas special.

See you soon.

5 More Sleeps...........

Well we're on the count down now....... 5 more sleeps!

Anyway, I have a card that I haven't shared here on my blog yet, made using stamps from AnnaBelle Stamps.  Not your usual Christmas colours but........I quite like them!
Ornamental Christmas is one of the smaller sets and if you don't have it in your collection.....go check the store where Christmas stamps are on SALE!  I've clear embossed images from ABS Holly Branch over some of the pretty digital dp that is also available in the ABS store.

Back soon with just one last  Christmas card !!!!!!!!!!

JOY to the world..........CTS#9

Hello,

Here's this week's CASE(E) this sketch #9.  I think I've missed a couple but here goes.........My take on this pretty sketch.

I've stamped part of a sentiment from AnnaBelle Stamps Holly Branch set and used MFT Die-namics By the Letters to spell JOY. Using the Scor-pal to finish of the front of the white panel.

Nice and simple for what should be my last Christmas card this year..........I think :)

Look who came to sing to me:

One of the little 'superb blue wrens' that visit our garden.  They never sit still so it's really hard to get a clear picture of them. Often by the time I grab the camera they've moved on! I took this through the window which didn't help, but I wanted to draw him so this picture was good enough!

See you soon, I'm off to the hairdressers for my Christmas tidy up :)

Shine a Light...........Christmas

One more for Christmas!  I seem to be making more and more CAS cards these days, or at least cards without layers.  I love to see layered cards with ribbon, die cuts and bling.  After all that's what sets a handmade card apart from a store bought one, in most cases. What do you think?

This one was made using the lovely DP Twig and Berry from Kaisercraft. The lovely 'muddy' colours where just right for the recipient of this card and it reminds me of a cold English Christmas!

The image is from LOTV and I've coloured her using Copic markers, adding a little glitter to her fur trimmed coat and hat.  The Spellbinders Poinsettia die came out for the first time this Christmas too......fancy that!

It's was another busy week here last week. Visitors popping in, Christmas sewing with the embroidery girls. Then the Christmas party, which was a fun affair. The girls shared their beautifully embroidered quilts, wall hangings, bags etc. in 'show and tell'.  I came away feeling inspired to get busy with my needles and thread.

Thursday was the last meeting of the Quilters before Christmas with everyone in a rush to finish off those last minute hand crafted gifts.  All my Christmas posting is complete, the on-line gifts have been ordered........what a bonus to be able to shop this way.
I have one week for a haircut and any last minute stuff like buying the Boss a pressie......any ideas?

The pretty DP is from Carta Bella, a 6 inch pad called Winter Fun,

I've coloured with Copic markers and popped up a section of the hedgehog as well as the second little robin........Hope you enjoy this layered card.
