Scrapbook Boutique Blog Hop and Inspirational Challenge January 2015

Welcome to the first  BLOG HOP and Inspirational Challenge from Scrapbook Boutique in 2015.

The Hop starts and ends at the Scrapbook Boutique Blog.  If you're following along you should have arrived from Narelle's blog and when you leave me you hop over to Therese's Blog.

The hop is open for one week, closing at midday Saturday 17th January.
To be eligible to win the prize, leave a comment on each of the blogs, with the SB blog being the last one.  The random winner will be drawn from the  SB blog and announced on Sunday18th.

Unfortunately the blog hop prize (and the inspiration challenge) are only open to anyone with an Australian mailing address.

Join the Blog Hop and you could be the lucky person to receive
a $10 gift voucher to spend in the store.

My card uses the colours and a beach theme for our Australian Summer.

  • Cut a layer of soft peppermint green card.
  • Cut a second layer of DP in the same peppermint green shade.
  • Using my Silhouette Cameo and an Alpha from my Computer I cut the word 'happy' from the same peppermint card stock and using a glue pen adhered it to a Kaisercraft Sandy Toes Collectables shaped card.
  • Adhered a starfish shape from the same pack to another banner and add  a HOLIDAY banner label to make the up the third.
  • Add one of the palm trees from the Collection to the right side of the DP.
  • Add two more shapes to the top left of the dp and Using a small brad, attach the three banners over the dp securing at the back.
  • Add some white twine finished in a bow at the side of the banners.
  • Using double sided tape adhere the dp over the Peppermint green card stock.
  • Trim, score and fold smooth white card to make a 4.25 x 5.5 inch top fold card.
  • Adhere the completed card front to the white card using double sided tape.

Thanks for calling past, hope you'll join in with the challenges this year :)
